So it's agreed that we can take regions with our armies now? I'm going to take several small regions under the guise that I'm protecting them. I suppose so. Only Crusading is prohibited (that might extend to war between player countries) now. But I guess taking over NPC regions you have a claim to or for protection is possible. I've done that anyway with Libya.

But Yi Sun Sin and I already wrote about our purchases (I added some stuff abotu Intrige and stuff rather than ourright buying). I think its reasonable that we be allowed to keep the stuff we have already done before the new rules? Genoa and I basicly got what I think is mostly even so so long as Yi Sun Sin and I have no oppositions with each other's acquisitions I don't see why we shoudln't be able to keep it. We are still so tiny and only a fraction of the sizes of everyone else (well Genoa has Sardinia and Corsica but they aren't the greatest bits of land). Saying acquiring land through war is all well and good (and I admit makes sense) but it even further disadvantages us small merchant republics. You're rich. If you fail to acquire lands through dice, hire mercenaries. Depends on Antonio Santa Anna though. What say you/him? If it stays, IMO you should increase the price. These buys are likely not without consequences to the Venetian treasury. Since it's already written, it can stay, but do hire some mercenaries in the future as necessary.

So should I redo my turns? You should. Christians vs. Muslims should not happen until 1185.

Sorry it's a little late, but 1181 begins now. Those of you who haven't done anything for your turns, get started or risk getting smitten by God. And another thing I forgot by mistake: rolling to see if the Holy Roman Emperor and Pope die.
HRE:cdeWmNHg Pope:
They both live, although the Emperor gets sick near the year's end. Now get to making turns. ···

Aragon begins raising taxes on the nobility in a way to create better infrastructure to support a fast army. The army is raised to 10000 men (OTT?) for purposes to be revealed and begin march to the west. OOC: is this a good setup as I have no clue how I'm supposed to do this?

It's a good start, but plox post turns in the turn thread.

I believe there isn't to be war until 1185. You can attack NPC nations though for land and resources.

Antonio Santa Anna Is the battle phase of my turn ok? It's my first time, I hope I've done you proud . What repercussions do I have to face from HRE now? Edit: I've clearly stated that I'm taking the region for protection and a better livelihood for the local populace. Edit2: My armies are fully prepared to defend the people and lands of Alsace-Lorraine.

But since you seem to have made A-L's population happy, I doubt you would have to deal with any rebellions anytime soon.
