Troublesome sons can always be killed off leaving only the favorite. I already punished one son. I hope to see the others straighten into a line. You could always send those pesky sons to me if they get too troublesome...

I read the beginning of a book about touring Africa and inspecting its culture. Was written by an AfricanI think. I believe it started in a section of Uganda, which historically was divided into a few kingdoms.
The Traditional succession culture in the largest was to burn all of your numerous brothers if I remember right. I know for sure that at least one of their notable kings had to do it.
Really the entire picture of the kingdom it painted was extremely bloody, but much of that chapter was people complaining at its loss.

DesophaeusOR you can send them to Byz and they can join the Varangian Guard The Guard is mostly composed of either vikings or Anglo-Saxons, but I imagine the franks are Germanic enough to be accepted. If not, would you like a penal unit where the sons are grouped together and take the first charge

Wait Antonio Santa Anna you didn't roll for the other countries but the rules of Byz, Venice and others fall sick? I get rolling to kill the Emperor and Pope but your just randomly making other players rulers sick. I think it's punishment for missing the deadline. I didn't even know that 1891 has started.

Very Troll-y on my part. No better way for me to start a hiatus. But still, can I make Louis Capet Duke of Kalisz? You can't, even if you wanted. Louis is dead, and his son is no longer a junior King but became Phillip II of France 2 years ago in 1180 already. So you would be making Phillip Duke of Kalisz in that effect.

I know. Philip Augustus, a great king IRL, now is landless. Not quite. This was a royal marriage, after all. Don't think of it as annexation, think of it as a Union!
