Innocent III was ny nomination to start with. I wanted a pope that would approve Crusades (but then... come to think of it, ALL popes during that time was very approving of crusades against non-believers anyway). Now before you misunderstand me any further: The only thing I would want to do with Rus is some trading, at most, really. Denmark and Norway has blood ties with me. Normans, hello? Normandie was established by Norse and Danish vikings that had settled in Northern France. As Henry II, I certainly have far more in common with those two Scandinavian nations than Poland. Besides... you really really shouldn't have got involved with the Capet vs Angevin thing to start off. Regret much? I hope so. We can finally get back to cooperation if you would man up and apologize for your rude jabs and being nosy in my sphere of influence. Forgot to tag... here: Quintus Fabius. The King of Poland apologises for his envoy's remarks at the Angevin court, as well as interference in French affairs, and hopes that cooperation can happen between Kraków and Chinon (or is it Paryż now?) regarding affairs in Rus'. Peacefully. That's the way I like it. Us Christians need to unite anyway. There are bigger enemies out there. The Moors and Muslims, Laurent de Gouvion, no offense, but we are kinda supposed to destroy you since it is the name of the game.

OOC part: As it turns out... The court of Henry II is actually a traveling court because of the nature of his multiple holdings across Britannica, Francia, and Brittany which is neither a part of those two kingdoms. So in this, the three main centers of where regal power is projected would be Paris, London, and Chinon. IC part: Your apology is well received and well regarded. In return, I shall respect your realm of suzerainty as you wish and to provide assistance against the pagans and their heathen religion as per request.

Antonio Santa Anna, there is only like 5 people turning in turns in general for the past couple years. What does that even mean for their empires?

We don't get to suffer plagues as a sign from God (the GM). The rest do. I'm talking playability. If I try and invade someone, and I say they have low border defense, because they haven't built it up, and then they go back and say in their 1183 turn that they had built up border defenses, then there is a problem.

Anyway, yes, your goods are allowed to be sold and you are allowed to buy my goods. This will naturally make Burgundy a bit richer at the same time.

Countries who don't play eventually fall into anarchy if left alone for long enough. And yes, playing every turn saves you from my smiting and plagues.

This should be beneficial for both our realms.

Byz has fortresses everywhere Also note that the many walls of Constantinople are the greatest Fortification this side of China, if not the world. Best surviving from antiquity. If you take the city in one dice roll I will not be happy. Unless its 6-6 and I dunno. Portugal can into friend? Edit: 15-20,000 soldiers says do 2 dice anyway. Byz- holder of Roman military tradition 330-1081 (darn Normans but hey Roman battle name and one of the first Palaiologos members fought there so tradition anyway) Holder of military tactics 330-1261 (1453?) Edit: 1453 for sure. Up to the last minute of resistance. If all else fails infantry charge!

So you already have 50k assured for this year at your disposal.

We are neighbors whereas Byzan is a good distance away from you. He would have trouble sending troops when he's already fighting the Cumans and facing tension with Egypt.
