@communist, is this thread relevant to wc4 as well? Do these steps work for wc4 modding as well? The apps certainly do. Wc4 mapping works a bit differnt but if you want just to change the unit's stats it's pretty much the same |

I made an app, played it on pc (android emulator) and also sent it to a phone, on which it worked first. Then, I tried to send it to another phone, but got the "app not installed". I did make some changes in the meanwhile but not anything that would corrupt it, just small changes which I checked, nothing is corrupted. Why do I get "app not installed" on one phone and not on the other one? How can I fix that?

Android 10. I also tried modding the original apk, but you know how that ended up. "apk modified". So I found modded new version of WC3, but I don't want the unlimited medals. Do you know where they edit the starting resources? I'd love to have the newer version modded because the old one doesn't fit on my screen well (even after I successfully installed it)?

I`m modding on pc and I use APK editor studio, could you go a bit more into detail in how to set starting resources back to normal? I`m editing the latest version of WC3, and it's already modded to have unlimited medals, but I don't want that so I want to remove those unlimited medals. |

I mean, I used cheat engine, but it requires an open app and then changes the values in game. How do they do that with a closed apk? Shouldn't it be running when you use Game Guardian and how does it remain on 99999 after you download and install it on other devices? If it's like Cheat Engine, it shouldn't be able to remain on 99999 after reinstalling, cuz you change data, not the installation itself...?? I`m confused lol pls help (in some more detail please) |

You could look up Wc3 apks and search for one that hasn't been updated since 2019. It shouldn't be encrypted. |
