The only conquests that give Industry are 1939 and 1975. Tap on a country in conquest mode country selection, you'll see the rewards for completing a conquest with that country.
Rewards are NOT different per country, 1-star countries earn the MOST resources while 3-star countries earn the LEAST.
Spend industry wisely. And have fun!
