Ok, so i restarted EW4 after some stupid decisions like buying everything in stores without trade general and upgrading nobility for medals. I need answers to some questions: 1.Which cav general is the best in the beggining? 2.Once i found in shop +6 art attack item (in headquartes). Are there more these +6 items in headquartes shop? 3.I want to get Sophia, Isabela and then Lan and Victoria so i need to do HRE conguest. Is it worth to upgrade Sophia to max art or only Isabela? And upgrade her move or use only move items? 4.I want to buy some items so is better to buy trade general or upgrade princess trade skill?

I can answer all of your questions because i completed the game, got 420 stars and didn't spend any money on slots or emblems.
1) Golitsyn is the best free general, doesn't need money to buy emblems so get him. Don't bother buying murat or lasalle because lan and sophia replaces them.
2) Don't buy any items from the headquarters, buy them in campaigns in cities which sell them. That way, you can use a general with economy stars to lower the price of the item.
3) You will need 3 strong generals. I used golitsyn, sophia and isabella. Both sophia and isabella can move 4 hexes if you give them movement stars and 2+ movement item with warhorse. This costs lots of medals but it helped me to do the HRE conquest in 24 rounds ( first attempt.) For Sophia give her 5 movement stars, and 3 for isabella. Use the 2+ art movement for both of them to move 4 hexes. They need 5 art stars. Make sure your cav gen has high rank and nobility, my golitsyn had max rank and nobility (don't spend medals to upgrade.)
4) Don't buy a trade general, just give Lan 1 trade star when you get her because she has 4 to begin with.

Torvesta probably meant 4 stars in movement for Isabela, so she can moves 5 hexes even on heavy artillery. Anyway, I suggest you to buy Sulkowski (tier 2, 860 medals, 4 stars in cavalry, skills strike, spy, cav trainer) he's good enough to unlock the last 2 princesses with the help of Sophia and Isabela, then he will be regrouped into Lan

The first items you have to buy are warhorse and snare drum respectively in Egyptian Expedition and Battle of Jena (but I’m not sure). For these you don't need a trade general

Thanks everybody for help. Is there much difference between Golitsyn and Sulkovski? Torvesta what you did with Golitsyn after you got Lan? This trainer skill sounds nice. I could regrupe Sulkovski into Lan if i will get her of course.

1. The best people-killing cavalry generals in the game are those with the strike/surprise combo. That limits the list to a few and Golitsyn is the only free (non-IAP) general with that combo. There’s a reason that his medals-price is the highest, but your chances of encountering him in Tier 2 in the early stages of the game aren’t that good. If you don’t mind IAP, then anyone else with that combo will do (LaSalle is available in tier 3 on a restart. He also has 5 movement stars out of the box.) Sulkowski is ok, but when you’re buying him you’re doing so with the knowledge that you’ll use his training skill down the line and regroup him into another general. A strike/surprise cavalry general is a keeper. Sulkowski is a better fort-cracker than Golitsyn. 2. This is the list of items and where to find them. docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1I7WX-3GJEuio4B1Iq3mJDjfLPv73A74I-Bul_LhAqrM/edit#gid=12435597033. Yes it’s worth it to upgrade Sophia to 5 stars artillery, she’s arguably as important as Isabela. I would buy her the “horse artillery” item, and worry about upgrading her mobility later. 4. Sure you could give Lan 1 trade star to handle your trading but that would be silly because you’d be waiting until your 2/3 done the game for that opportunity. The answer to your question is a math problem. Figure out the cost of the items you want (looking at the sheet I linked to) and determine what the percentage discount for those items would be, relative to the cost of buying a trading general. Remember, all sell-side transactions can be handled by Alexander (5*-trade Russian General) who is available to you in several Coalition campaigns. You take a trading city with him, and create a save-point to use going forward, when you want to sell an item.

I don't know if there is a big difference between golitsyn and sulkowski but i know golitsyn is the best tier 2 and you will need the best to increase your chances of getting lan and victoria. I wouldn't bother buying sulkowski tbh, just get golitsyn.
I had to regroup golitsyn into lan so i can give her some cav stars because i only had 4 slots but that was fine. I only needed 1 cav gen and lan is the best in the game.
Regarding isabella, she can move 5 hexes but she would need 2 of the 2+ artillery movement and 5 stars movement. With 4 stars movement, she can only move 4 hexes not 5. That doesn't matter though because 4 hexes is usually enough.
All my generals were able to move 4 hexes so they could go together in a group and no one is left behind.

Thanks once again. I will buy Golitsyn but i can't find him yet. And then complete with him FRA 98 conquest. How many health and nobility Golitsyn need for that conquest. Thanks for that item list it will help me a lot.I will just rush with my all army and take items from shop with best trade skill general.

Isabela with 4 stars in movement can move heavy artillery of 5 hexes: 5 + 4 stars + 2 engineering + 2 item + 2 item = 15 points = 5 hexes

yes but i was talking about having just 1 2+ movement. I thought isabella started with 3 movement stars, not 2.
Anyway, isabella can move 5 hexes but it is useless and not worth the medals buying 2 2+ movement. 4 hexes is more than enough.

Golitsyn is the best output cav general. Sulkowski a fort smasher (though you do get Sophia for that) but does have the cav trainer skill.
Golitsyn is more expensive. However, unless you're willing to spend a crap ton of medals for Berthier or buy an IAP, he is almost a must-get, either at the beginning, middle, or end of the game.
If you have extra slots, then you should be able to keep Golitsyn. If you don't, well... Either get him and then regroup him, or don't buy him at all. Your choice.
I would suggest buying Jerome (3 trading stars plus trade trainer) or Arnold. I believe Jerome's cheaper.
Tip: Don't upgrade Sophia's cav stars (unless you have completed the game with nothing to do or no better generals to train), but there are some campaigns when Sophia on cav is beneficial.

What do you think about my farm? Can i upgrade it? I get 400 medals after 4 days of rarely farming and 10-12% of refresh per reload. I'm killing the circle units. This is my generals training spot. I'm killing 5 units with Sophia and 4 units with noone because i can't find Golitsyn. Is it normal that i refreshed about 20 times tier 2 and still can't find Golitsyn? I have 2000 medals and i don't know what to do with them. Thanks for tips.

I've Golitsyn, Bennigsen and Davout waiting to be recruited, but I have horrible luck with Trainers instead. Some advice, manage your gen slots well, or else you'll be forced to regroup unnecessarily.
