I'm going to play EW4 again, but this time without any princesses. Moreover I have intention to use two inf generals (I know it sounds heretical for many players ). In this connection I would like to know does anyone have in his endgame team a general, who is not IAP general or a princess?

I don't know if it's possible to get 5 stars in every campaign if you only use 4 generals.
If you have 6 slots, get oudinot and doblen as your infantry. Scharnhost and grouchy can be artillery, golitsyn and berthier on cavarly.

Golitsyn is for the last slot

I would try Oudinot and Döbeln are a must for inf team, I believe... And who is better in your opinion in either/or situation Scharnhost/grouchy, golitsyn/berthier

Golitsyn is for the last slot I would like to make a decent admiral out of him So maybe one of inf generals? But, on the other hand, movement is neccessary for machine gun... Yes I think Golitsyn will be the last one, and I will make decent admirals out of inf generals...

There's a little problem. Golitsyn uses the last slot, but your first general must be a cavalry commander, and if you want Dobeln and Oudinot you can't buy an artillery general

In campaigns however it is possible at least at early stages to use inf/art general as a first one, imo...

Ney has siege master and spy so he should be used as a hybrid. Give him navy and artillery stars. He will be the same as sophia but worse on artillery. He will probably be your most important general.
Berthier and golitsyn can be cavarly.
Dobeln on infantry.
Scharnhost and grouchy on artillery.
Instead of grouchy, you can have oudinot but i prefer 2 artillery and 1 inf over 2 inf and 1 artillery.

Surprise , Defense Art + movement 4 (only one trainer of this kind in tier 1, not very easy to get...). But yes, Ney is an interesting option too...

Raevsky costs money though. Your challenge was without using iap or princesses.

Raevsky costs money though. Your challenge was without using iap or princesses. Raevsky is in tier 2 and costs 895 medals

Yep... Raevsky (one of the heroes of Borodino) is free. The only one able general in tier 2 with Defense art (Kościuszko has it as well, but Raevsky is better)...
