So I will make a guide for Canada 1939 ( apologies if there is one already) you start off with a rather measly source of income, and very weak industrial power ( only lv2 industry in Vancouver). with the powerful Japanese and Germans on each side it can be tough attacking across the ocean. However there is one easy way to beat japan Submarines. I took naval port near San Francisco to produce subs and attack japanese navy. It is pointless to attack japan without destroying their impressive fleet. Many battleships and a aircraft carrier need to be destroyed. Once you feel confident japan has very few naval force left you can invade. I used field artillery from Vancouver and took Sapporo. Then sweep south and seize Tokyo and other Japanese cities. If you hurry you can take japan before they take all of China If they have taken cities in mainland you need to attack and finish them off (Mongolia and China are weak and usually fall.) And now we come to Germany Italy Spain and other axis armies. I took cuba to create forces and invaded Spain for a launching ground for Europe. When I arrived Mainland France was taken and germany was looking to Britain. I invaded through Spain and captured french cities(minefields are excellent against paraspam) when you have taken paris use any tank generals and move on Berlin the rest is mop up as you will have enough resources to sweep axis in Africa And Europe the main difficulty of. Canada is that if you do not defeat the axis quickly it will be very difficult to win

Green arrow in Japan picture means submarine fleet and red means army to seize Japan. Against Spain red is first attack green is second attack directions in Spain blue on cities mean you should take those before attacking france and white on cities mean you can take them if you want they belong to neutral portugal
