If you're looking for a speedy guide for this scenario, this is not the place to find it. This is more slow paced as I'm still in the process of playing.
First of all, you start off with around 5 vessels in the Celtic Sea, 4 being troop transports and 1 being a battleship with a high rank. You also have 2 Frigates, 1 in Plymouth and 1 in a port in Ireland. You would want to retreat the 4 troop transports to the coast of Ireland and gather the battleship and frigates together to form a barrier, protecting the troop transports. By now, the French would probably have sent a frigate to intercept the your fleet. Use the 3 ships from earlier to take the frigate out and advance to Brest. As this is happening, equip most, if not all, your current troops in Britain with troop transports, since you will need them for the landing. After nearby coastal forts are cleared out, land the army in Western France and advance towards Paris. Once you are near Paris, clear every French unit out EXCEPT Napoleon. With your one army, he will decimate you. Keep your distance until the other 2 armies can get near Paris. Instead, relocate your force to Nancy, where there is a fort to the south of Paris. Destroy it and do not advance. This section will be referred to as "Army 1".
At the same time as you are doing the guide above, you should fortify the English southern coast with Coastal Forts, as you will be skirmishing French privateers and frigates. Utilize your rank 2 Heavy Artillery and your Rocket Artillery stationed in Birmingham, as well. Eventually, the French will send Bernadotte's Grenadiers to land in England. Try everything to stop him from getting to land, as his attacks are weaker at sea. After Bernadotte is defeated, gather troops stationed in the northern areas of Britain and bring them to the coast of England. Make sure to equip them with troop transports. As the first army (above) is landing, make sure to use ships to clear Coastal forts and then land your gathered troops. including Rowland, in Normandy (northern France). Again, do NOT advance towards Paris. Keep your section on the coast, with easy access to Paris. This will be referred to as "Army 2".
For the third part, you will be doing this as you are doing the other 2 guides. You will find that Sidney and Cotton are near the east coast of England, ready to set sail. I recommend constructing one artillery piece and use the frigate in Edinburgh to accompany Cotton and Sidney at sea, but it is largely optional. Anyways, use Sidney to capture Rotterdam and destroy nearby forts, paving way for Cotton and his troops. You will need to eliminate the Netherlands early in-game, which is no match for Cotton's cavalry and extra reinforcements. Don't worry about the Rhineland, since chances are that Austria and Prussia would've dealt with them already. Once the Netherlands has been defeated, advance South towards Brussels, then Metz, Nancy, then Dijon. Once you capture Lyons, do not advance further. You need to go back up to the river near Metz where there is a bridge. Do not cross the bridge yet, until the other 2 armies are in position.
By now, you should have conducted a 3-point landing in France and the Netherlands, like a Napoleonic D-Day. 3 armies should be located in the North, South-west, South, and East of Paris. Once your 3 armies are in position, conduct a coordinated assault onto Paris. It is recommended to have 3-5 pieces of artillery, including Mercer's Rocket Artillery. With your mass of troops, it should bring Napoleon's unit to near-death or completely decimate him. Once you finish the turn, he should not be able to do much damage and the path to Paris will be clear.
As you enter Paris, it will leave you with Southern France and much of Spain that was conquered by France.
Now, the rest of this playthrough is up to you.
Edited by Nobunaga Oda. 1806, the original year, involves the landings in the Netherlands, but 1809, the actual year, involves the landings on Brittany, France.
