I got the game recently, and it is very fun to play! Currently playing as castile and have aragon in a personal union! Will form Spain when I can. Also planning to end Granada, but portugal took some of their land, so I might have to defeat portugal to unify Iberia.

Another funny moment. So portugal declares war on Morocco for tangiers. Aragon and castile(me) both join to help our friend. We end up winning. AND PORTUGAL DOESNT EVEN TAKE ANY PROVINCES FROM MOROCCO! They gave some to tlemcen and that's it. Didn't. Even. Take. Tangiers. Oh well it was a fun war

Last time we played extended timeline mod and we 8 players
France Britian Russia China USA Germany India USA
we all made a alliance and went to war with the USA player.
USA player control europe But China and india help us push USA out or usa while invading America from the West.
Then it became a race to Washington. 2000-2078 it lasted almost 2 hours

Right now playing Ottoman empire. Slowly absorbing countries in Anatolia and thinking about invading mamluks. They are rather strong. So I might wait until they go to war with someone else, as my allies Tunis and Morocco are not very strong, neither is Crimea.

Might just wait until I get better tech because it is a long ways to mamluk capital, my navy is amazing but land forces could be improved. Current rivals are Austria Hungary and Aragon

Mamluks is a joke. As soon as you have defeated Byzantium and all the Turkish beyliks reconquered that weren't allied to the mamluks, invade them with your full force limit, they are extremely easy.

Tip: don't attack Europe too much, you'll get raped in a punitive war

Tip: don't attack Europe too much, you'll get raped in a punitive war I was a noob then, however now in ottoman I have biggest army in the world, and I control all of red sea,no more mamluks and might take Tunis next, however just leave europe alone, as strongest european power has 1/3 of my army size, and they would coalition me so fast, so I just expand in Africa right now. Beginning game mamluks can be very powerful, but once ottoman take Anatolian minors and get tech edges they are weak, advisable to attack them when you see their army is weak in the ledger.

There's a mission to conquer Tunisia, so expansion there will be easy, and after taking 3 provinces from Hungary everyone got so angry. however if you become Catholic I think aggressive expansion goes down

I saw EU4 was on sale until Wednesday. Does anyone recommend getting it? I already have HOI4. If you already brought HoI4 and its DLCs, might as well spend your money on EU4 and its DLCs too. By all standards, EU4 is a great game. The only drawback (with any current ongoing PDX games, not just EU4) there's no sense in doing anything halfway. Either you abstain from buying the DLCs much as humanly possible, OR you burn your money, buying the major ones (the minor ones can wait until you need them for a new major one). If you're are already doing it with HoI4, go for EU4 too, but I must warn you that it does seems to many people that out of all 4 main series, EU is the most complicated one (by popular polling - I think Reddit or Steam forums, not sure).
