Each day new games come the future Is vr 20 years from now games won't be the same Some perhaps, but not all. For example, I'm a part of the Battle for Wesnoth community. Wesnoth is an open source game that was made in 2003, and apart from the graphics going from poor pixel art to good pixel art, balance changes and new factions, and some changes to the engine, the base game has pretty much been the same. ToD, leadership/healing auras, 2D pixel art... all of them remained consistent. Now it's going to be on Steam for version 1.14, and in 10 years time, I bet that Wesnoth will still be the same. Other examples are Nethack (1987-now), Dwarf Fortress (2006-now).
