In the description i've read this: Select any country in the world, adjust diplomatic tactics, aid allies, and declare war on other countries So i have a couple of questions for the ios-players ( best75 , Singlemalt ): 1. Are you able to play as switzerland? 2. Are you able to declarw war on other countries? Could you guys please explain me how the diplomacy works? The only thing you can do with the diplomacy I seen is give resources to your allies or declare war on neutral countries. How to give ur allies resource?! Everytime I click on diplomacy i only see declare war. I really want to play as UK/US and help weaker USSR AI.

When you click on the diplomacy window, you should be able to see your allies' resources and right next to it, there should be a moneybag that once you click it, you can send resources.

It’s almost useless, though. EW6: 1806 diplomacy is much better. For example, if you play as Netherlands during 1798 and bribe correctly, your allies are guaranteed to squash the enemy.

I actually tried a Lend-Lease only with USA. I noticed Russia getting caught up on single city even though they basically had it surrounded with artillery. At the end of the turn, the cities were always empty and ready for the taking however the Germans went first meaning all they had to do was place a single unit because the Russian A.I moves their units first then attack. It took over 15 turns just to take a single city. Hope they make the A.I better for WC5, would love to do an actual Lend-Lease only conquest

The main thing with friendly AI is that they always move first and then attack, and even if one of their heavy tanks is in range of a city, they will move it, which makes assault nearly useless on those tanks because they can’t move into the city after they moved one tile to the left. But the enemy AI never does this

And the terrorists in 1980, which is quite helpful considering their frequent paratrooping

I use the diplomacy features to keep certain allies relevant in the game. If I help them capture cities and funnel extra resources to them they produce stronger units and that helps take some of the heat of me. If I take all the cities myself then I wind up fighting on 8 fronts. Not fun. Plus: letting allies wear down he enemy or draw off their units helps me concentrate on the more strategic cities.

When you declared war on a country I don't think the country you declared war on acually does anything against you. I started a conquest and declared war on all neutral countries and waited a few turns to see if they do anything. They did nothing. Declaring war on a neutral country simply allows you to actually target those units and cities. More important is location location location... I invade Cuba in order to use my nukes on the U.S. before landing my troops. [For example]

Not fun. Plus: letting allies wear down he enemy or draw off their units helps me concentrate on the more strategic cities. It does definitely help in most cases. But depending on what country you are, sometimes you gotta sacrifice your allies to steal their cities so you can make strong units yourself (especially in 1980). But most of the time, the more allies you have, the better
