It certainly feels like it as I think forests are jungles now.

For Street Fighting doesn't your unit need to be inside a city for it to activate? Probably(at least it was in WC3. MOre damage to cities=explosives Than it would not equal explosives because cities are never close enough for your units to attack a city while being in a city themselves

Than it would equal explosives because cities are never close enough for your units to attack a city while being in a city themselves WC3 still has some exceptions to this "No City VS City" rule. For example, WC3 conquest mode Vienna, Munich and Budapest. Do exceptions like these still exist in WC4 or has ET finnaly divorced closeby cities?

I checked conquest and there are actually are a few cities 2 hexes alway from each other. namely the 2 cities in Korea and the balkans. Still the exceptions are rare that I would not equal city fighting with explosives.

I do feel the same. I have no problem finding forest at all (at least in conquest). Well, not every turn, but mostly. So I feel very positive with Jungle Fighting skill where you usually get attack boost and damage reduction.

Is it absolutely certain that Jungle fighting = any forest fighting?

Do we know for sure that cities are "stronghold units"? There are 4 units in the stronghold tech tree (bunker, fort, coastal, rocket) and wouldnt it make streetfighting redundant if explosives included cities?

This skill is partly why Donitz is god of the sea. It's almost like all friendly ships around him get temporary generals given to them. Huge damage booster at level 4...+16 attack to potentially multiple ships. Especially with the sub damage multiplier vs big ships.

Agreed. This is my favourite skill. Blasting away with impunity is amazing. If you are taking retaliation hits from the big tank/artillery generals you aren't going to be around for long. This keeps your general alive a lot longer in harder missions.

Does crowd tactics work at sea. If so wolfpack seems kind of useless apart from cheaper medal price

Elastic defense Forts cost campaign resources, this doesn't. Will you leave general near fort for 25 turns? 1lvl +4hp 2lvl +8hp 3lvl +12hp 4lvl +16hp 5lvl +20hp E rating I tend to add forts adjacent cities I've turned into Medcenters so while someone like Bagramyan is restoring hp why not have some hp added to the fort also?

I believe it's because popular opinion favours continuing to be on the move instead of being stationary, unless necessary. The fort idea sounds nice, but the effort needed to set it up in a normal Conquest or Scenario run does not.
