Hi everyone. Considering that my actual lineup already has two cavalry generals (Murat,Lasalle) ,two artillery generals (Sophia, Isabela) ,one econ (Fatimah),one infantry (Oudinot) ,and one navy (Kate) ,and that I'd like to hire another general ,I was wondering who could claim this place. I was thinking of either Berthier ,Poniatowski ,Dombrowski or Radetzky ,since I value cavalry more than the other corps. I'd also upgrade them to full stars (obviously in their best fields). I know Berthier is incredible with 5*cavalry and 5*mobility, but also Poniatowski with 5* in Navy ,Cavalry and Artillery wouldn't be that bad either. Of course they would cost more than Radetzky or Dombrowski ,since they need less regrouping. So help me decide between them ,and if you have other suggestions ,I'm eager to ear them.

What about Lannes? He is a beast on cav, a god on mgun. makes your enemy suffer, even the last blow(mass fire).

Isn't there Golitsyn? Why not him?

Leonid Govorov yeah initially I thought about him too ,and of course he's a beast ,but I prefer cavalry generals ,with the only exception of Poniatowski ,since he's the hybrid for excellence .

Nobunaga Oda Honestly I don't believe him to be equal to the ones I mentioned before. Clearly this is my opinion ,and of course he remains one of the best cavalry generals of the game.

The combo of strike and surprise is the skill-set of the best cavalry people-killers. Since Poniatowski has neither, I'd drop him from consideration. He'll eventually be able to move like Berthier, but will never be his equal in damage.
I have maxed-out Berthier, Lan, and Golitsyn, and they're pretty indistinguishable as far as output, but I'd rank them in that order If I had to.
Leveling-up Berthier is a tedious exercise with the most frustrating part actually being the refresh-farming for Diez. But he doesn't move well out of the box and needs those move stars.

Poniatowski is a good cavalry general: leadership, geography and assault art are perfect skills for every units. Lan has better output than Golitsyn or Berthier because she has assault art

Poniatowski's good, but my point was that the others under consideration are better.
Who said that Lan has better output than Berthier or Golitsyn? If you actually run controlled tests among the three, you'll see that their average damage is about the same.
People need to understand that assault art is only a damage number at the upper end of that general's capability + a cool icon. Damage from a Poniatowski assault art attack is at the lower end of the damage range for another cavalry general with strike/surprise and equal stars.
