In pervious games when your land unit going into the sea would just have lower attack power. Now land units going into sea are much weaker. They are changed into a naval unit type while they are on sea so naval units deal same damage to them as other naval units. Besides the lower attack power, they have weaker defense and only 1 range to attack. So if you use a howitzer which has a range of 2 on the sea it will only have a range of 1.

Hmmm....This make it more challenging in landing troops near coastline full of Forts.

Am I the only one who thinks about Brisbane 39? Sure, it can be done with carriers, but support of motorized PMIs from ocean helps anyway, especially if you get nearby airport faster than port with carriers.

Brisbane 39 is not as much of a annoyance because you can upgrade cities to have airports and missiles now. Once you have enough resources you can just bomb/nuke Brisbane and send a paratrooper in |

Hmm... something makes me think that possibility to have missiles in any city is not good idea and that will make game quite boring. Sure, may be with some other innovations it will be ok. |
