The Russians did not fight for their lives they fought for their families as Stalin said those who won't fight will be killed and their familly will be killed or sent to siberia, so Russians didn't had any choice. I'm not going to argue over my previous post but, I do stand by it. I also doubt Lend-lease would have had much impact any earlier than mid 1942 since the U.S. didn't begin sending supplies until the end of October '41. Britain started in late June of '41 mostly with food (probably U.S. stuff the Tommies didn't like ),some Hurricanes and some M3 Grants. Funny thing,they all liked SPAM! I've been studying and reading about WW2 for many, many years so I do know what I'm talking about. Speaking of reading,do any of you like to? I have over 100 website links that I'm sure would interest some of you.
