I usually think of promotions as a way of making your general keep his rank and survive in the later scenarios, but it seems to be worth much more than that...

  First purple general I seen and this guy is insane. He has 4 very useful skills, plain fighting , crowd tactics, guerilla, and rumor. He was fighting for Italy here, and Italy has Commandos, so at least he wasn’t on the most powerful Infantry unit his faction offers. But a quad-stacked Mechanized Infantry is still dangerous. |

The mountaineer would be quite dangerous to face off so you got lucky. I agree though, the rumor alone makes him dangerous |

The 500 medal to have the purple ribbon is worth getting. Everything else isn’t. Even the extra 500 medals to get purple rank is not worth getting for a while |

Well since you have purple rank, triple stacked heavy tanks have at minimum ~ 700 hp (max rank), you need someone with around + 42% Considering into account that 120% is the lowest rank possible, literally anyone you can buy will fit that criteria. If not at first, they will once the unit ranks up a bit. |

Getting the purple medal is a minor buff that will cost 3000 medals for 6 generals. Not worth it imo |
