All right here is the point by point breakdown: 1/ The basics of EFC: As was pointed out before I really don't think EFC has changed much. Sure the community has grown in membership ( btw it's almost 3000 not 1000 😆) and added boards based on feedback and interest but the fundamentals are the same: - Post and learn about Easytech gaming.
- Chill in any of your favorite boards.
- Have fun but don't encroach on your fellow members.
2/ Origin of EFC:The forum was created because while Easytech has wonderful forums and vast interactions in their home market China they didn't really have a quality outlet in the international market. This is the same reason why the VK Russian community was created too, to fill a gap and to cater to players that didn't have access before. 3/ The community at large:In the internet world forum communities are somewhat similar to living beings, they are dynamic entities, they morph and change over time aquiring new characteristics along the way. This is for the better or worse and often times communities fluctuate between these two states in an unending back and forth dance. Who represents the community and drives it is a complex topic, certainly the large majority does, the core of the forum, in our case people primarily interested in reading or posting about games. 4/ The banner carriers: An important distinction, this subset of members is different than the core and heart of a forum. Communities often allow a smaller group to "carry the forum flag" so to speak. In every forum there are always a continuous cycles of [Flag-bearers] a small portion of the membership that because of their sustained activity or their charisma or their wits or their knowledge or their social graces will distinguish themselves and rise to popularity or/and leadership. As is almost always the case, these members are universally showered with praise, aknowledgement, recognition and so forth but a crucial factor underlying this though is that this system is intrinsically selfish (it relies on all parties drawing a direct benefit) and is temporary in nature and that its foundation strength relies entirely on circumstances as well as following unspoken social contract and rules. 5/ Founding of EFC Roughly it started with the [Pioneer] group of 5 although this is a bit unfair and arbitrary for example best75 joined within days of closing admittance of the pioneers so in reality he can also be considered part of that starting group. 6/ Unity unity is a relative term, human beings in general are never truly united on anything except a few narrow selfish survival interests.Ifyou give a voice to people and they have free will they will usually almost always disagree on something. 7/ The staff I think any of the present staff can tell you we view ourselves in service to the community. We are gamers too and this entire project is also a fun learning experiment. We can't make everyone happy at all times obviously but we can facilitate and enhance the EFC stay of the great majority of the membership.

I know nothing of the history of EFC. In fact, I am fairly new to the community and Easytech games, with just over 2 months of experience since I started playing EW4 on the last week of June. For over a month I was really struggling with the game, always finding it hard to complete just one conquest, and even getting stuck at the Battle of Trafalgar and Retreat of the Empire missions. That until I found this community. The strategies, tips, knowledge base, and shared experience of the members improved my play style significantly. I even found it impressive that the community members engage in a so-called positive conflict wherein the said members exchange ideas, dispute the posts of others in a positive light without any flaming or dramas. The diversity of ideas is really helpful for new and old players alike. And today, I was finally able to complete my flag decorations for the conquest mode as well as get the last 5 stars. All thanks to the members of this community. I can't help but share what I achieved thanks to the contributions of the members to this community. What I have is small compared to what the veterans of EW4 have achieved, but know I am extremely grateful to everyone who shared their ideas to get me where I am in the game. .org/] Thanks to the many "How to get princesses" guide, I got all 8 beauties with me. .org/] Thanks to all the campaign guides created and compiled in this forum, I was able to finish the Final Battle scenario with 5 stars. .org/] Thanks to the various guides about where to get items, how to farm rank and nobility, conquest guides, princess analysis guides, and the unit analysis guides, I was able to decorate my conquest wall with many flags of the small 2 and 3 star countries. May this community have more strong years to come. Thanks again.
