$400,000 was the prize awarded to this high school student for making a video explaining the special theory of relativity he had the winning submission of The breakthrough junior challenge which invites students from all around the world to share their passion for math and science.
86 countries were represented in this competition.
Out of the overall prize of $400,000, $250,000 goes towards a scholarship,100,000 goes to his school and 50,000 to his teacher. Not a bad payout for a quickie video that he edited himself.
