My middle save file on the right for conquest mode was somehow unable to register a save.
Before I knew it, I saved over my Austria 1815 conquest which was 80% complete (just Sicily, Southern Italy, Algeria, Ottoman North Africa left).
I exchanged my 80% completed run of Austria 1815 for a fresh 1809 conquest with France... [More redacted screaming] because the save button instead redirected by to my Austria save file.
Anyone else experienced this?

The worst thing that happened to me related to saving was that when I was done farming medals and bought a second cav pistol. I played the Rise of America campaign 5 missions straight. When I tried to save the second turn of the sixth mission, the app crashed. After I reloaded, the cav pistol was missing, 500+ medals farmed were missing, the whole Rise of America campaign was reset, I lost 250 medals and 25 stars earned, and I have a save file for the sixth campaign. I stopped playing for 2 days because of that.

I used to have a save for the Trafalgar Grind in the bottom right corner of the campaign save screen. After about ten or fifteen reloads, touching that part of the screen would result in the save from the upper right slot loading up. This has now happened so often that I played past that other save and saved the Trafalgar grind in its place. I have on occasion saved a game in the wrong slot, or accidentally restarted and then overwritten a precious autosave, but I have not YET been corrupted in the way that Antonio Luna describes. |
