just land away as much as possible from them, and then take the city and spam random units to distract koiso while you easily finish him off. Hes very easy to kill since hes on a weak rocket artillery, I tried again and killed him with 15 1 stack light infantry units.

 as shown in my photo, land troops as indicated, then clear off koiso and secure your landing. The navy troops you have should take the port as shown, defeat the japanese navy reinforcements, and psh down to take the second objective port. Send your naval troops to the opposite side of the island to take the last objective port. Your land troops attack and easily take kuriyabashi's city. Your american allies should have weakened the second last city on the island so you can grab that without any resistance. For the bunkers and land forts i indicated a cross on, try destroying them so you can have access to the southern general with 1 range units. Spawn many rocket artilleries to easily defeat the last general. Like i said this is an easy campaign that does not require any generals to win, so with your generals this should be very easy. |

This is especially so if tech lvls are underdeveloped. To beat Koiso, I actually recommend getting an arty gen (Leeb or Konev are more recommended) then deploy him on the starting RA if there is one. Hopefully, while Koiso is distracted with the ship in the port, the arty gen and Messe should quickly knock him out.

Harry Lillis "Bing" Crosby Jr , I feel like this is a straightforward scenario, but it's more difficult because it's a slugfest against the Japanese. This is especially so if tech lvls are underdeveloped. To beat Koiso, I actually recommend getting an arty gen (Leeb or Konev are more recommended) then deploy him on the starting RA if there is one. Hopefully, while Koiso is distracted with the ship in the port, the arty gen and Messe should quickly knock him out. yep he has leeb and messe with him, and I remember doing well without any generals in my first acc, and with vatutin only in my second current one(bought yamashita afterwards). And yep, there is a double stacked RA as well. |

Hi, I really really need help with this mission because I read through many of the comments and used some of the recommended strategies but they all failed for me. I have 6 generals: Messe, Crerar, Tito, Blamey, Bagramyan and Badogilo but my tech tree is not very advanced. I tries this mission multiple times and the closest I got to victory was when there was only the Japanese tank general Itagaki left alive but I ran out of turns while trying to destroy him and he is to well protected by the fortifications around him. On-topic: On top of what Harry Lillis "Bing" Crosby Jr has said, pleasehelpme, you may want to play Conquests and Domination mode to earn resources to upgrade your tech tree. This will be very important as you enter the CWE and prepare for Modern War. I recommend going for tanks and arty, especially the upgrades that improve your chance to move/attack again (tanks) and chance that enemy will not counterattack (arty). |

Thanks for the reply and I appreciate it a lot however I have 1 question and that is whether its worth it to buy Guderian for 2935 medals or should I just buy Vatutin for 1800 medals because they are both 6 star tank generals (+30 damage) but Vatutin cost 1135 medals less which is a lot for me and its going to be a long time before I can buy Guderian if I don't sell most of my generals but I can get Vatutin soon if I sell only Crerar and Tito. I am HQ level 29 and if I sell Crerar, Tito, Blamey, Badogilo and Bagramyan that would leave me with Messe and enough medals for Guderian but I will only have 2 tank generals and no artillery generals. Furthermore I will not be able to complete some of the daily tasks or have the benefit of multiple generals to provide more firepower at once, I learned a little trick by watching a youtube video made by a World Conqueror youtuber called Bruchminati and the video teaches you an instant task complete method because you will usually have to wait 8 hours till you can collect your reward and free the generals for more tasks. It is really useful and I use it every day to get rewards immediately. Going for the best free tank gen is the most ideal path right now. He will be vital in the upcoming CWE and I'm not sure if Vatutin can fully match Guderian. Vatutin is good, but if you can afford the best, go for Guderian. If you really want to keep some of your gens, you need to earn more medals. Doing Daily Invasions and Daily Missions help, but don't forget to push on in Domination and earn some Achievement medals. With Guderian's firepower, Iwo Jima can be easily cleared since you should be able to overwhelm Itagaki at the end. |
