Nobunaga Oda ,@agustfirstarmy, would trying to beat the battle of Kursk hard (to unlock armored assult) be a good idea? Do you think it would help for this mission if that skill were upgradable for guderian? It's the best outcome for tank gens.

Here's how I did it:
I used Vatutin, rank Colonel (147%), the Panzer Leader skill upgraded to Lv 4 and Armored Assault to Lv 2.
No medals, nothing. The tech research is kinda mid, so yea mainly the Armored Assault does it. I did it in 23 turns.
Take the two naval ports as soon as you can else it will become very difficult to take them back. Take them with the destroyer and one of your ships (preferably the howitzer one, as it has so low HP)
I strongly reccomend using a tank general here and save his HP (attack Koiso (rocket artillery) by lowering the morale; surround him)
When you take the NE city, then make some heavy tanks, I did it with three stacks. Don't send the tank general alone, make a small force then go hit the infantry general.
Paratroop on the city below and then start making heavy tanks and rocket artillery (i did more heavy tanks, some consideration to rocket artillery), and during all this process, send the cruiser if it is still alive to destroy the fortresses.
Paratroop to take the naval port.
Voila! I only used Vatutin, nothing else. Tech is okay-ish, and no medals on Vatutin.
