Have you guys ever done a conquest where you just take over everything including allies? Russia 1806 is great because you can turn Prussia and Austria neutral and take them over. The whole of Europe being the color red soothes my OCD... and it's quite fun.

My only problem with my Russia conquest us that I stole EVERY Prussian city besides Danzig and Berlin and they are still my allies! I was counting and I stole 7 areas from them! Wtf!

You can try saving the game before capturing your ally's city. I think the ally's reaction is random.

I don't think it is random. i think that it was a bug. there's no reason for Prussia to not turn into your enemy

I also think the ally's reaction is random. It was two-three cities I was capturing from Prussia and they turned neutral. And also there was a try when I captured 5 or even more cities from HRE and they were still my ally. And it was also Russia I was playing.

Yes I have experienced the weird number of cities thing. Like for Austria, I stole 2 and they turned neutral, then in another conquest I stole 4 before they turned neutral. You can definetly steal once without anyone turning against you though.

I am pretty sure it is random. I saved game, stole 2-3 cities, and no reaction. So I reloaded, did the same, this time, they became neutral. I usually use save/reload method to turn allies against me.
