Advice: Do not spend all Domination resources on tech upgrades, save up to build resource Wonders such as Borobudur. (Tries to farm 20k Domination industry to build Borobudu via Conquest using 3-stars) May I suggest Finland 39 for farming the industry. You get 2000 industry for a S rank which I believe is relatively easy and much more than you get from doing a 3 star country. |

With solid bases in Eastern Europe it will be possible to prevent a dangerous Russian counterattack... |

Thanks, but I need a different piece of advice: Franco, increase income (by switching between Toulouse & Barcelona) or to attack? (Push North into England & assist the German gens before taking London) |

Use paratroopers to occupy cities in France, and take all French towns in North Afrika. No money for allies - upgrade your facilities instead... |

Depends on what you want... If von Leeb or Vatutin are not in your future plans, road "Messe - Guderian" seems to be the best. For if you hire Leeb or Vatutin, it is not that easy to find 3000 medals soon enough... |

I started with buying Leeb, then went for Rommel, after Rommel I bought Konev (upgraded Konev and Rommel a bit) and then bought Nimitz. |

I think getting a good gen like Leeb earlier on is a bettter idea now.
At HQ lvl 17, I doubt he'd be of use in clearing daily missions cuz I've been getting more missions that require more than 1 gen.

Just bought the Google Play WC4. Gonna try to create a noob's/less-active player's path to getting gens.
If in a few hours time (probably 3 hours), if I can't get Leeb, I'll just buy Messe.

Update: About 2 hours (IRL time) in, at HQ lvl 8 with 1020 medals.
I'm starting to lose momentum in scenarios. Domination is a total halt. Only way is a perfect run in conquest with whatever scenarios I can still get 3-stars on & to use Domination resources.
Conclusion: Medium - Hard to get Leeb (not to mention Vatutin) before HQ lvl 17 where 2 gens are needed for completing tasks WITHOUT saving for wonders (I saved for wonders) and WITHOUT buying Messe 1st.
Thus, starting path for weaker/less active players IMO will look more like Messe -> Leeb/Vatutin/2nd arty or tank gen -> Guderian

How I calculate this path is:
500 (starting) + 300 (tutorials) + 150 (5 3* Axis Europe) + 150 (5 3* Allies Europe) + 50 (1 3* 1939 Nation) + 215 (Domination) = 1365 medals.

40 medals (clear all lvl 1 Challenges)
80 medals (clear all lvl 2 Challenges)
120 medals (clear all lvl 3 Challenges)

IF you play as a 2* 1939 Nation & clear it on A rating on first try instead of 3* 1939 nation, you can ALSO get Messe.

Initially I thought about Leeb too, but when I got enough medals for him, I changed my mind. Now I have 2 ideas for the first gen: Rommel with 40% discount or Timoshenko. Seems like to get 40% discount for Rommel I need to get lvl 20 (to get medium tanks in legion) and ww2 pacific (to get new tech upgrades). Not upgraded Rommel is worse than Timoshenko. Upgraded Timoshenko is worse than upgraded Rommel and also he will likely be sold in late game. But anyway I think some 150 medals waste is not a big problem, especially keeping in mind that Timoshenko I can buy notably faster and this will let me get some extra medals from invasions compared with Rommel.
