Wait a minute, where's the flow of medal from? The game is quite new and you already got that many gens. Also, how did you beat Nimitz with no navy generals? Well, it is more than possible. I completed with Messe all Europe (normal) missions; after that I was able to hire Vatutin; after that I was able to unlock all 40% discount for most of Academy generals and completed about 60% of Challenges; after that I was able to hire Konev; after that I completed all Pacific (normal) missions; after that I was able to hire Graziani; after that I was able to complete almost all challenges and most of Europe (hard) missions, some Cold war (normal) missions and to reach Petropavlovsk in Challenges; after that I was able to hire Rokossovsky; after that I completed all Europe (hard) missions and about 60% of Pacific (hard) missions. Now I'm able to hire Rundstedt, but I prefer to buy Nimitz first, so I'd better wait a bit, and after Nimitz I will hire Rundstedt and start to upgrade my generals... With this team I should be able to complete all Cold War missions, and after that I'll take my time to decide who will be my 8th general...  I was thinking about going like you, just replacing Graz with Nimitz/Halsey and Rokossovsky with Guderian. |

By ww2 pacific 7 after I bought Timoshenko scenarios became quite easy. When I bought Nimitz, they got even more easy and when I'll finish ww2 pacific, I'll need some 100-150 medals to buy Konev. So seems like scenarios are quite hard only till you buy first gen. And I don't think I will have problems to get medals for Rommel after that. I MO the only problem is that you must have appropriate gens and tech for your level to clear invasions. There were some problems till lv25, when you get heavy tanks and cruisers, but after that I have problems only with hardest invasions and not always. Most of navy and infantry problems are solved on level 15 when you get cruisers and mechanized infantry, tank and art on level 25 when you get heavy tanks and rocket art. I have just 2 gens and lack some 600 medals to buy Konev. And that's not a problem: as I rmember I bought Timoshenko some 2 levels lft in ww2 Europe. By that time I could get 540 medals from scenarios, + 300 tutorial + 500 starting, that's 1340, need 320 more for Timoshenko. Sure, I haven't got 3 stars in all scenarios, but I completed some challenges, some exercises, some famous gens 1st levels, also a few medals from invasions, that was enough for Timoshenko. Than I started to earn quite notable amount of medals from invasions, again challenges, exercises, 300 medals bonus for unlocking ww2 pacific, ww2 pacific scenarios, famous gens levels also provide good amount of medals. Nimitz's lv3 is that, where you have to capture 2 ports protected by super battleships and kill Yamamoto in carrier? This was not so difficult, as when you capture on port, gen from second rans to kill you in that port and leaves second one unprotected. I cleared this level it even when I didn't know about this and when discovered I already attacked second gen a bit and lost some subs to do that. |
