After a semester of near-inactivity, boom! 1939 3 Star is now, along with 43’, at nine rounds. It should be noted that this is only possible with the new, overpowered, medals. I only bought the tank medal ($8?) and upgraded the free ones, so with the IAP artillery and attack-again medals, perhaps even lower is possible, though I doubt it. Feel free to ask questions about strategy or my lineup/medals. Going forward, if there is ever serious competition for these speed records again, then there should probably be two categories: one including IAPs (Manstein, Zhukov, medals, etc…), and one without. At this point the disparity is wide enough.

1943, 8 rounds is possible, whether I have the resources or not.

1950 3 Star WR, 13 rounds (14 old). Basically just with the new medals and a changed strategy: Guderian spawns in the Balkans, and added another infantry general. I can see 12 round is possible Hope, I can also achieve the feat

I can see 12 round is possible Hope, I can also achieve the feat I’ll be trying for 12 in the next few days. I think 1943 8 rounds is possible with jus the tank medal, but it’s quite the stretch. I already modified that strategy, mostly in the Balkans, from the 9 round record, so I’m not sure there’s much more room. My bet is that 1980 has a lot of room just because it’s by-far the least frequently ran. The problem is that it’s not much fun

Wow you're awesome Captain, and for journeykeen, you made it waaay harder to beat your records Welcome, it’s been awhile! Yeah, since the new medals came out, along with some progress in strategy, the I mostly shattered the old records. I noted in some prior post that, if WC5 also has a vibrant speedrunning community, we need to lay clear rules regarding IAPs.

ET aint risking any legal trip ups anymore (and whats a "world" conqueror without China and its related theatres)
