Well, I guess EW5 thread won't be very popular in the future, but I have to say thanks to ET for this game. It was one of the challenging games I ever played. Singlemalt has done (well, is still doing ) great job as moderator. Moderated by Saltin:Link removed.

WC4 is the future but I enjoyed my time playing EW5 and watching my generals grow.

While it did have many flaws, I quite enjoyed EW5. It was certainly different from previous games, which was a nice change.

I was just playing EW5 again! Really addicted. Historical inaccuracies still bother me though. Also can someone remind me what is missing in V 1.2.2? Edited by Saltin:The hack comment has been removed.

This will probably get me pilloried our something but I actually prefer the art style of this to WC3. I don't know why but something about the less realistic and cartoony unit designs remind me of the nostalgic days of playing pseudo historical flash games. Just because its less realistic doesn't mean that it's a bad art style.

Farming medals is easy... but not as efficient as continuous daily gameplay.
Then again, 400 medals max per day for doing close to absolutely nothing sounds like a good deal.
