Difference from WC3, the task seem to have 100% chance of succeed. Which mean, if we have 2-3 generals, we can do 2-3 few task a days.
And each task give us 2000 golds or other resouces which can help us upgrade tech or build an army.
For farming (2000 gold take us 12 times to auto 1st mission).
So the question is, should I buy those cheap generals to do task, or should I wait until I have enough medals for Gold General?

The tasks seem to require extensive amounts of stars and skills as time goes on. I don't think there is any cheap general that can accomplish them. The cheapest general still costs hundreds of medals anyway, so you're better off saving.

I wouldn’t bother hiring a general you don’t expect to have some use for in actual combat. For one thing, you can use up to 8 generals on conquests now. Some of the later exercises/battles in Domination Mode use up to a dozen, and you will need them all. It’s also really helpful to have at least a couple of generals for each role. You may not need three naval generals for conquests, but they will come in handy when you are doing certain scenarios and exercises that are heavy on naval power.
One other thing... you don’t need to fill requirements for all three listed skills to complete tasks. One of the three will always be a main skill, and rank will be another. So simply maintaining a varied roster with a couple of generals for each main role will help you complete almost all tasks.

If only tasks could give medals... It would be possible to compensate the difference between price and by-back price. But in current situation one general is enough, imo...

Filling up the tasks doesn't decrease the time to finish it, for that, there are 3 wonders. Filling up the tasks increases the rewards, say you get 2000 gold at standard and you fill up one slot you get 2500 gold (or 3000 I cant remember correctly). |
