 Hey gang, time for a new forum banner. You can submit or/and eventually vote for your favorite EFC banner. If you submit the winning banner as voted by the membership and staff you will be given a special reward! Probably a unique custom tittle or a rare badge for your avatar.The size currently used is about 800×400 but you can post similar sizes and they can just be resized later if needs be. The banner should use mostly Easytech images and if any non-Easytech images are used then make sure they are [royalty free], that is to say free to use by all. Obviously submitting an entry of a banner you created means you will allow the forum to use this image in perpetuity and without conditions. Here is the default current banner:  Note it really isn't very difficult to make banners, you can easily do this on a PC or even from a mobile using free software or apps, it just takes a few minutes to learn the basics. So go ahead and experiment and post whatever you came up with here in this thread. You never know you might turn out to be the next Picasso !   Ohh and no worry if your banner doesn't look spectacular, if the style and art is pretty good the pic could be retouched and edited and made to look better. Nb: This thread will stay up for at least a couple weeks to make sure everyone that wants to participate gets a chance to and then we can vote on all/any of the submissions and select the best looking new EFC banner. |

Marshal Ney , I used a custom size (816×459), it isn't all that critical as long as it falls within ratio range of more or less 2 to 1. I am pretty sure the one you sent me in the mail would work great.  Leonid Govorov and Der Kaiserreich , ,I like both of your designs but I don't think we can actually use the very center image because it is the official Easytech company logo ™ ,so since I am not sure if there are legal implications with it I would prefer to steer away from it. All the 6 of the outside images are ok though so you would just need to replace the center one. Also I liked the Welcome message, it makes a good friendly first impression for the membership and that's a great message to project. Yes you can make other boards banners if you want to but the goal of this thread,the competition and the prize are for the main forum banner/ logo though. Oh on mobile here are a couple of my favorite android free tools, both of these apps below don't require much design skills and so are easy to use. Usually you need to use multiple apps to do everything you want because all of the free apps only do certain gfx tasks well, they are not meant to be complete professional design packages.
