So do I defend or attack? In an wordier post, someone said that you can end it early if you attack. That only applies if you have sufficient firepower and the enemy is not too strong. Something like wide spread enemies of very small army groups and you have enough tanks and arty to deploy your gens in. Here, they have many army groups, you lack firepower, specifically in terms of tanks, and the enemies are far too close to you from the onset. Your best choice: DEFEND. With better tech, your forts should be able to better withstand the onslaught. You may also want to upgrade your arty gen's tech even more as well.

Will provide info on next post.

I finished it finally. I didn’t upgrade anything; I just went with a different strategy. You shall not pass. Lol I only built land forts and used my commando to block the opening. Then I built rest of land forts and healed my commando in the top right. I built RA behind the forts. My destroyer just attacked the troops that came close to it. I used Guderian on the triple medium tank, Konev on triple howitzer, and Nimitz on reinforced commando.

pz2020, just a tip for later... Don't ever build rocket launchers. But good work nonetheless. Hold the Ground X is tedious but not super hard.

You have to use a combination of jebaiting, troop baiting, and sacrificing units. Don't bother saving the north port, and don't try to get it back until you're about to lose your south port. Always keep your troops on the move, and don't kill enemy submarines, just lower their health so they can't do much.

What is jebaiting?

It's like breaking someone's ankles in sports. You move your troops to look like you're going for something, the enemy reacts, and you suddenly move them away to your real objective.

How do I use that? For example you want to attack the city in the North. Send a weak general down to the city in the south; and the enemy units in the south and in the center will respond and target your general. Then, send your main force towards the unguarded or not as guarded Northern objective city. This tactic is pretty rare in WC4 since the AI response is either unpredictable or will not be triggered by a flank threat

This tactic is pretty rare in WC4 since the AI response is either unpredictable or will not be triggered by a flank threat This is more common in EW series, where generals will all head towards a strong enemy, all together. This means that you can lure a mass of enemy generals somewhere else, while a small but sufficiently capable forces sneaks into the empty enemy territory and conquers the cities. In WC4, enemy units are made to stay in their defensive positions if they have yet to enter the war, or camp generals in cities.

I see all the enemies being attracted to Beseler all the time.

Just want to say this now: The "you shall not pass" strategy doesn't work.
Why? simple: Gens on Commandos WRECK bunkers so fast that you don't even have enough time to regroup
Not to mention, You get so damn overwhelmed at the end that doing anything useful is impossible
My suggestion? Land forts and artillerry
