So, let's talk about de Gaulle 
He's a bronze general good in artillery but weak against everyone else
He got the following skills:

 Artillery barrage +10 damage when under 50% HP
level 2
 Entrenchement -18% damage from artillery
level 3 
 Rumor +15% chance of lowering enemy's morale
level 1


In the thread "General & analytics" (http://european-war-4.boards.net/thread/6550/generals-analytics), de Gaulle got a D recommandation

For me (it's my opinion), he should have a B/C rank & his stars changed

Why ?

In WW2, de Gaulle was more a tank general but also a artillery general 

So, he need to have 3/4 tank stars

Also, he need to be a silver general

So, if de Gaulle become a silver general: it's my recommandation

Good general for early/mid-game but can't fight against too powerfull general (Guderian, Patton, Zhukov)

His skills in silver should be this:
Artillery barrage
level 3
Entrenchement level 2
Rumor
level 3
a skill to be added 

All of his is just my opinion 

He recommanded only for beginning game
He's more like the early Leeb
