Do the conquest rewards differ depending on which country you play as and which time period you play in? For ex: would I get the same reward playing as a 3 Star country in 1939 vs a 1 Star country in 1950 (and let’s say I scored a rank A for both)?

One star provides best rewards.

Does it matter which time period Yes it does, Germany 1939 grants 20000 gold with an S rating, while Germany 1943 grants 30000 gold. The rating also determines the rewards. So in short, the following things grants you higher rewards in conquest: -The year -The dificulty, shown in stars -The rating

(Has ~2000 industry left to accumulate to get Borobudor. Can't progress much further in the game. Decides to give up on badly played Germany 1939 conquest, instead farms industry from Blitzkrieg scenario. )
I think conquest rewards are good... only when you can score S rating as 1 star nations to effectively farm resources. Otherwise, I'd rather take farming in the easiest scenario of faction that provides it (all scenarios of equal difficulty gives same rewards).
