I've heard then some of us are stuck in a stage of progress. IIRC, the one that I read of was saying he bought Vatutin as first general and cannot go any further in Conquest, missions, or invasions after a while. Thoughts on this?

Plateau in one place - you can do many things elsewhere... |

Without doing anything extraordinary I, for example, in less than 2 weeks hired 3 Generals. It is enough to play Pacific normal or Europe hard, to some extent Exercises and Battles in Domination, Hold the Ground etc missions, and conquests...

Without doing anything extraordinary I, for example, in less than 2 weeks hired 3 Generals. It is enough to play Pacific normal or Europe hard, to some extent Exercises and Battles in Domination, Hold the Ground etc missions, and conquests... What generals and how? If you get less than 3 stars, do you lost any medals? |

I don't believe it is possible to be stuck in progress. You can get resources from daily missions and farming conquest. There are daily invasions that are easy enough that you can farm medals without good general. |

Why didn't you go straight to Vatutin? Well, in fact I did. I strongly believe that the best way to hire Vatutin (even Guderian) as soon as possible is to buy Messe from the very beginning :0) |

You need a good gen from the get-go, take advantage of the easier Daily Missions then move on to a better gen.
I have a Leeb now, but he's not useful in Domination daily events simply cuz he is not enough to win.

He can cover the cost difference between his initial price and buy-back price in a week or so. Without a general it is close to impossible to do daily missions and invasions. So you basically don't spend medals... But with Messe you can go further, receive more medals, and hire a big name soon enough. Compare it to items in EW4... 5 stars trader can buy and sell any item without a loss. You use it, - sell it, - buy better items. And basically you use all these items for free. The situation here is somewhat similar to that. It will be less time consuming to use Messe and without any loss in medals. So is there any reason not to do it? :0) |
