After Erich von Manstein posted his info on all the skills, I say we need to put this info to great use! Thus, we shall see what the best skill combos in this thread.
Now, this isn't a certain fact, but I think that if you got Street Fighting, Plains Fighting, and Desert fighting, as with Blitzkreig and Tide of Iron, those skills could create a godlike tank general. That's just a theory, though. Has yet to be tried out. Will get back on this.

Yes the urban fighting would be good but you're just begging for nukes. Plain fighting: yes get this skill 100% Desert: you will only be using this in Africa tbh I'd say add ace force to the list because it's a great skill in challenges and some campaign missions.

Urban fighting would be great for 1939 and 1943. desert is typically tank territory Ace force...yeah I'll add that onto the possible combo because it's really good

The perfect tank general for me: Tide of Iron, Blitz Krieg,Plain Fighting(you guys know why these three), Explosive(we always need to crack the cities), Supply(a surviving skill is really, really necessary). If you think Supply is too expensive, then Ace Force(good skill=lvl4, normal=lvl3)/Defense Tactic(if you think you are lucky).

Maybe we should talk about an artillery general. We really need an artillery guy with high output and movement.

So I think we should try Mountain Fighting and camouflage, as you recommend, and Artillery barrage for our theoretical artillery general. Now, would Marching ability help with the artillery movement problem or no?

Mountainfighting and camouflage are to against the artilletry. And they are not everywhere. Marching ability will help a lot!

An idea about artillery: Artillery barrage, Plain Fighting, Explosive and Supply(I said before), and the last one, I prefer Ace Force, useful for campaigns.

Well artillery has a boost in fighting in the mountains to begin with, so making the artillery even more OP in the mountains may be a good idea.

But you cannot make sure that when you are facing the enemy, you are always standing on the mountain.

But I say that you have the better combo nonetheless.

My arty eyed covered general also has these 4 skills. The 5th skill is still blank though. Cannot decide yet. Normally, I prefer Supply over Ace Force since I like to play conquest.

Yeah, Ace Force is mostly for alien campaign. You can let the second one focus on conquest... Maybe Street Fighting?

I always use defense tactic on every single eyes-covered general. That skill helped me fight out of some tight corners. I wonder if defense tactic can also be triggered when a missile or nuke is shot at you...
