I like using Prussia, you get Blucher & Scharnhorst and the others aren't half bad either plus I can use my 4 generals to level them up.
In all the times I've used this scenerio I've never achieved less than 147 medals, highest was 167. It's by no means a fast game but,is a fun one.
I play very methodical, preferring to build up my cities etc. while defending my territory and letting the enemy generals attck me.
The first to attack is Falsen in his little boat and a Swedish Frigate, both are easy kills.By round 10 Sulkowski attacks and can be killed off and during that time the 2 Polish cities nearby may be left empty and I just waltz right in.
Sometimes if badly hurt he moves south and attacks Austria,he's gone as far as Vienna so I leave him be.
Next Davout will hit from the west,he's a bit tougher and is sometimes joined by (I think) AugustI. Then Poniatowski will strike, either going after the city by the port or towards the factory to the north.
After he's kaput I make a twin siege art. battery for Sophia to take out the large fort by Warsaw and a twin hvy. art. to help take out Dombrowski. If the Russians are attacking him I let them take the brunt of it keeping my generals close enough to take the city when the time is right.
By this time all my original infrastructure is fully upgraded and it's time to go on the offensive. Sophia heads southwest towards Debden usually teamed with Blucher and maybe another. Kutiasov (hvy.art.) Yorck and whatever other cav. general I have near Warsaw head towards the Ottoman's. Usually Belgrade is first, then I work east and take all I can before crossing the river and going for Istanbal. After that the generals head west and I use fresh troops to take out the rest of the Ottoman's.
These generals cross to the lower boot of Italy to Naples etc. and depending on how Sophia/Blucher do in the north working south they (usually) meet up at Rome. Then the 2 Islands plus Sicily are targeted with the army from Sicily heading off to Algeria, then towards Spain.
In the north I attack west from Berlin and usually have to take out Sweden & Denmark too but not with any general. The generals head west towards Amsterdam since the British aren't always on the ball there. From there I move into France, sometimes it's been very easy since just about all the French generals have been assailing England. That hasn't been the case every time though,Napoleon has sat in Paris waiting a few times too. Other times after taking Paris I found the tavern totally empty.
Then moving south to Spain conquering and pilaging along the way all the generals meet up and finish things up. Lannes is usually the last general left and can be in the northwest corner factory or somewhere in the southwest corner.
I'd say the average is 80 rounds depending on the help I get or don't get from my allies and what the French generals do,if they're in England that adds rounds to go knock them off. Plus my generals aren't currently the best like some folks. I'm sure as I get better generals it will go faster. I think this scenerio is a lot of fun and great for leveling generals.
I started to take screenshots as I went but haven't finished it yet.
