Questions about skills and medals

You can add abilities to a general you’ve purchased by clicking the open ability slot after selecting them from your HQ. Not all generals have open ability slots. Some abilities are available from the start. Others you unlock by capturing specific cities in scenarios.

Medals give you boosts to those abilities. Different medals give boosts to different abilities but only if your general has at least level one in the ability. In other words, a medal boosting Panzer Leader won’t give your general that ability. It will merely increase how often the ability triggers if he already has it.

You get random medals as rewards for completing a certain number of tasks in Domination mode. Others you get for achieving an S rating in the various conquests. You can see your progress or collect a medal you’ve earned in Domination by tapping the trophy icon on the lower left of the screen.
