I recall there was a discussion: who is better - Yamashita or Mannerheim. But for Ymashita's price (who is Colonel) it is possible to hire 2 Major Generals - Rundstedt (1380) and (!) Zhu De (1125). And I never heard that Zhu De was in anybody's plans. Nevertheless he is a promising Inf general, imo. I guess this guy needs the minimal amount of medals in the whole game to be fully upgraded. I don't say this fact alone is enough to hire him, but for me he is an interesting option at the very least...

He is cheap but I don't think he is on anybody's to-buy list because the infantry general is never the first choice for general.

Its interesting observation however as best stated I dont think he will be in any1s team. what i dont understand is why people say mannerheim is more favourit above rundsted. Moreover it is possible to give Rundstedt 3 best inf skills - Leader, Guerilla, Raider...

5 skills instead of 4 for Mannerheim, best movement, rank, and he is much less expensive.

It is a pity that we can't choose all skills by ourselves anymore... Leader, Guerilla, Raider, Rumor and Crowd tactics could make an inf based team a very possible option... |

Its to do with people's experience in Finland conquest using him, people have put him to great use in the Finland conquest so they think he is very good general when in reality he is not much better than Rundstedt when upgraded. |

I also think that Mannereim can't get into top3 league.
The only reason he is attractive is Finland 1939 conquest. You are trying it when You don't have generals and techs and he is good. Otherwise he is mediocre general comparing to other choices.

My best guess is that because he has 2 skills upgraded to lvl3, plus some players simpy don't know that Rundstedt's price is 1380 medals with 40% discount... |

Once I get the medals, the general should be more powerful again. |
