I haven't passed this either, after losing twice. I think my tech tree needs to grow before I attempt the third time... Do any one of you max the tech tree before playing this? For normal, no. My tech tree was DEFINITELY NOT maxed out. You need a lot of luck & gens with lvl 3 Rumour, at least. |

Yup noticed it too. I raged the first time it was like that. My gen can cap a city then assault rng went against m multiple times...

I used the hard tips for NATO 6.
Take the first island using MT and HT while the rest assit Bradley. User the destroyer to take the port on the next island and the cruiser to soften fortification. Then sent the destroyer to intercept a sub comming to the island no one and spawn sub from the port taken. Two sub are needed to kill the AC. While another for the cruiser. Those two tank that hope to the next island and take it. Need to add anti acraft missle on the city.
While the rest will take the city on the mainland. Then take the city on the corners and by this time bigerman will come out to attacked and missle are being used against our gen. Then just mopped them than on the first city with landmarks put tech tree next city money. You have 5 city by then. Spawn ra and ht.. nuke if you can.icon cannon to soften city.
One star for time being highest gen konex, lebb, lerrec Messi and Fletcher used him on the ground for his air power. all at lt colnel with rumors lvl 3. 75% tanks upgrade.

   I landed south with my allies for this lvl. Went for Timoshenko first and used the stealth bombers to nuke Zhukov a couple times and had my tank gens capture the city he is in. Than captured the Chuikov is in with the help of more nukes and missiles.Should I directly go for Timoshenko and ignore the city that's in the way? Because I tried to take that cite between Timoshenko and the first city in the west and almost lost all my troops |

Happy first post and welcome to the forum! Taking Konev's city is useful where you can use it as a forward base to launch attacks on Zhukov and Timoshenko (so that you wont have to spawn units from your far behind cities to support the frontline). Try using rumor as much as possible to confuse Konev asap, making his city easy to grab Plus killing Konev provides an enemy debuff |

See Admiral Tanaka post Final Base Tips dated March 1. Maybe this strategy will work for you. I read several strategies and tried them but couldn't pull them off. Hope this helps.

Leeb- 12% Arty leader and 30% rumour
Messe- 30% rumour
Blamey- 8% Arty leader

Try getting Konev instead, you may have to sell Blamey. Get Konev's 40% before selling Blamey. Also, you should aim to hire Rommel too, and similarly through unlocking his 40% as well. Tedious investments, but they will ensure you success not just in this tough mission, but for 1980 missions later on (end game) |

You may also consider getting a 3rd tank gen to be able to clear Rommel's missions. For me, I hired Rokossovsky. There are also guides in the Campaign guide archive which should work, but you'll need a lot of prep work to be done first before you can clear Rommel's 40% mission. You need to upgrade Leeb and Konev's Rumour and Accuracy. If you can beat Rommel's 40% mission, you definitely are able to beat NATO 6. |

I have found something: when you move a unit into Konev’s city area, they immediately nuke the closest general. So don’t move your tank gen near them, let them sit in a city. Bring a weak gen/ nearly dead gen to Konev and he’ll destroy him. Still haven’t beaten the level but hope this helps somebody.
