Anyone know any WC3 mod makers? Please try asking about mods in the mods Gaming Mods section of the forum. However, I believe The Light Bringer can help answer this.

Anyone know any WC3 mod makers? I'm one of them along with @communist, I believe we 2 are the oldest modders in this community, besides Monty :D

This turned from upgrading no eyes to mods, back to the topic, I have no generals as i recently restarted due to a screw up.

Eye covers are extremely hard to start unless you are making a substantial amount of medals. Get Badoglio or Govorov, then Manstein, and I'll help let you know what to do after that.

Making your first gen EC like light version of Badoglio works fine. Besides saving medals, which you will have to waste selling Badoglio in the future, you get gen from the very beginning. Sure, that requires proper upgrading (something like 100 hp, 3 art stars, 1 movement, 2 plain and 2 explosives) and after investing some 1300-1400 medals you can consider switching to academy gens, but as a starter gen it works fine.

Yes but most newer players don't have the patience to do that. I agree that it is plausible but not completely feasible for someone new.

Yes but most newer players don't have the patience to do that. I agree that it is plausible but not completely feasible for someone new. You mean don't have patience to stop upgrading EC after they started to do it? Yes, that's right. ECs have good price/performance when they don't have high upgrades. But also doing this way you don't have to wait from the very beginning until you save medals for Badoglio or Govorov. So somewhere you need more patience, somewhere less.

Thanks for the great advice, but I want to remind you both, I'm not new, I'm just not very good at the game and looking for new ways to play as I've restarted almost all easy tech games atleast 6 times.

Also I can't get artillery ability until destination berlin.

I decided to get Meyer and Crerar as starter gens until I can get more medals Bad idea. I would restart and get Badoglio instead. Meyer and Crerar aren't worth your time.
