Suggestions: Austria is a really huge player--remember the Bohemian and Danish parts of the war was primarily a German affair. I sughest to split Germany into Catholic League and Protestant Union. If you can't, considering giving Austria and lands to Spain. Whatever you do, give the Prot. parts of HRE their own player (including Bohemia and Savoy if you're starting at the 1618 mark; one is the starting point of the 30yw and the other funded Mansfeld to go wreak havoc on Austria). Are you going to do something about Italian states (remember Milan and Naples were Spain's), Ottomans (who funded and 'participated' stuff through their vassals in Transylvania), England (who I believed lent mercs and monetary support to the Protestants) and Poland-Lithuania (who sent the Lisowczycy as mercs and stopped the Ottos from participating outright in the 30yw)? It looks like I might be cancelling this RP. There is not going to be 10 people that suddenly want to join. I plan on hosting another Alt Hist, just maybe a War with less participants.
I will open sign-ups when I think of said theme.
