Tagging SaltinJust an idea that popped on my head, but if that is OK with you, I think we can create a pdf manual on complex things(ex country recommendations) so people can use it. We can then share it with other users so it can help them eith their gameplay and not make the same mistakes that we made before we discovered this. That's what this forum is for, isn't it?

There is already respective guides for each of the games. Should we do this? I'm not sure...

That's what this forum is for, isn't it?I agree with this idea. I am afraid of the loss of knowledge that will happen when this forum shuts down, and it might happen in the future, for nothing lives forever (Also other problems like Web Hosting, Proboards going kapoof, etc.) Internet archive provides a finicky solution because you need the links and from my experience, even archiving one huge thread is annoying. A pdf or text file can survive the ages of time--I can play CoC:RA and AoE2 with >10yo guides. If we can store our most important knowledge with the apks/open-source lawyer-friendly clones of the games, we may see a future where our children can play the wonder that is EW4/[insert Easytech game of choice here]. Saltin, mods, I hope you give this some consideration.

It doesn't seem necessary to me. You can find any information that you need for the game you are interested in inside of it's game board. That's easier than scouring a massive collection of every easy tech game. Not to mention the collective effort it would take to make such a manual. I doubt ProBoards or the forum will be shut down anytime soon. Vacated, perhaps. But it'll still be here.

But still, it'd be nice to have some kind of offline resource thing, kind of like the app some guy was making a while ago (never heard from him though ), just in case the board/Proboards go kapoof... or if you're in a place without wifi and don't wish to use your limited data/don't have any more data (like I often am).

And for some old analog users who perfer a printed version(I often do as well)

Other than what NetherFreek already posted, EFC will not publish any manual type PDF versions of our guides because this can facilitate plagiarism of our content and/or theft of intellectual property. Also live interactions between members and the community and the many on-site guides is far better and more fun than just reading a manual. There is also no need for it since EFC has all of our guides readily available and easy to use. Proboards is not going anywhere and we would know if they get in trouble long before there are any issues. PB has complete backups of our site and would provide us with a restore if there is a catastrophic server failure. We also have the Internet archive that time stamps and not only prove EFC ownership of its content but acts as a mini back up as well.
