I am seeing some threads regarding ideas for mod and people who need help for mods. As those threads are most of the time not getting replies (reason will be explained further into this thread) i would suggest people to first do some research to what they are wanting to see in a mod, and then ask. saltin this section of this thread is for you, maybe you/we on this forum could implement a system giving all classfied modders a modder rank, so people that have ideas/need help for mods can pm these modders instead of filling up the board. Okay, now the reason WHY there is never replied to these threads, most of the time modders are busy with their own ideas/mods and arent able to help you with your mod or make a mod of that one thing you would like to see.

Red Cat Modding, you need to understand not all question can be answered. Some of us modders have University and work. Most of our time is on our studies .

Red Cat Modding, the problem is clear, the answer is clear and you have stated both in your post. Modders are usually busy so they may or may not answer queries right away or at all. This willingness (or lack of) to answer posts is the same everywhere else and in the other boards too. For example gamers may answer a game question right away or they might wait a while to do it, or they may not reply at all. All members have the prerogative to either post or reply to posts at the time of their choosing. They are also completely free not to reply as well. We definitely do not want to move content to PM's because: -It puts members on the spot and remove their freedom to choose. -It hides valuable content and answers and knowledge from the general population. -It makes it much more likely that the same questions are asked over and over because no one sees the pm except for the pm recipient. As to ranks, eventually I am planning to introduce a ranking system similar to the Guru system in the game boards but that most likely won't happen before PB V6, the dev that writes the code for this won't do it till after PB updates to their newest version.

@communist, the whole point of this thread is too tell people that modders are busy , cause people post threads with mod ideas and ask for help trough threads, and most of the time those threads remain unreplied too, so you could say they are spam.

No, members posting questions or asking for help is not spam. People are free to do so if they want to and you and other modders are free to answer them or to not answer them.
The board is open for all members to participate in any way they want as long as the content conforms to our community guidelines.

Saltin, true, but on the other hand, the replies they get are most of the time : ''modders are busy with their own work''
