Does anyone have any tips on how to get 3 stars for missions? I have Messe and Leeb, and decently upgraded tech, but I still rarely get the three-star. This is all missions in general, and any tips would be welcome.

No, not just this mission, I mean missions in general, and in any campaign.

This is easily the hardest mission in this set, by time I get over to help my allies with the US they've already spammed units

This mission is pure grinding and especially at the end. And unfortunately you don’t have a lot of turns to do this.

Never even seen this post in the fourms (I AM ALWAYS ON THE FOURMS except when I am not) if I was to offer advice on this (aside from the get good) would be to kill alexander to prevent him from linking up with the other more powerful generals and take yangton quickly to debuff the troops (pretty sure that is what is supposed to happen) you will need to take the american cities to have enough science to make artillary units to bomb the remaining two generals at the top and to top it off if you had any generals and a few weak units left after taking all but the top three cities then use the close to death units to draw the generals out of the city (makes it easier to take the cities). I was thinking about Leeb's rumor+ some Airborne to give him a ? , it is possible, only one, max 2 lucky shoots depending how fast we take control on what . btw. Napoleon , when decided who will take the task if it was damn hard he asked, "the General has skills, but is he lucky " I think this is similar in some missions here. IMPOSSIBLE. The best rule is: -attack the weakest only, -bunkers will stop strong for long. -bombing monsters is cheaper than plain fight with obvious result.

If you decide to one star this mission (and come back later with more tech and generals) put Messe on the heavy tank and then Vatutin on a heavy tank that is built in Mandalay (preferably double stacked). This way you have two generals with artillery properties (range 2).

I did this mission in 25 turns with Guderian and Graziani. If you have cold war tech like I do, don't assign your generals right away.
I sent my infantry units and armored car North of the mountain range on a quest to block the path of Alexander. I did this since south of the range is crowded and units can't move very far at a time.
I sent the tanks and howitzer south of the mountain range to attack Alexander. I got lucky and was able to capture Yangon, I built triple stacked heavy tank and assigned Guderian. If you can't capture Yangon, wait to assign a general on a triple stacked heavy tank in Mandalay.
After assigning Guderian, I built another triple stacked heavy tank and assigned Graziani, had them both work the western and middle cities.
After Mandalay, I sent them to the city northwest of Mandalay, then to the objective city North of that city. After that, I attacked the northern central city. Keep attacking the city with your generals, even if Wavell moves.
I saved $2500 so I bombed and paratrooped the last city. If the city has infantry units or nothing, start bombing. It may be more difficult with a tank on the city.
I have cold war tech and at minimum aircraft bomb 4 is needed to be able to reach the final objective city.

Hard mode is easy as well, I finished it in 17 turns. I just got Guderian myself a week ago, so he definitely helped.
