I am pretty sure they do. The only attack property that might not AFAIK trigger in the AI's turn is Assault Art, but that's a skill rather than an item.

For Assault Art: i.e. if Lannes is facing Paget, if Lannes attacks Paget, Paget's assault art won't activate, as he's on defense. If Paget attacks Lannes, assault art may activate, but Lannes' wont For Defense Art: If Radetzky is attacking Kutuzov, Kutuzov's defense art may activate, but on the retaliation, Radetsky's won't. If Kutuzov attacks Radetzky, Radetzky's defense art may activate, but on the retaliation, Kutuzov's won't |
