I am on the Axis 10 campaign (Conquer N. America) Does anyone have any ideas on how to beat it?

Ok tried all of them. I can conquer everything but San Francisco, but I reach it around turn 34, and on the last turn I get really close to taking it, but can't and I lose everything. Any ideas on how to beat it? |

Any ideas on how to beat it? I usually avoid Washington DC cuz Patton on a Super Tank spawns there. Only taking him out by (ironically) dropping 2 atomic bombs. However, I have tried twice to knock out Patton by sending in Guderian & Vatutin instead. They took a lot of dmg (including the death of Vatutin on Heavy Tank) but the benefits include ownership of another capital city. I also send a mini task force by sea to beat back the Canadians on the West coast of starting point, using this force to follow up with an invasion of central Canada. They will take the central Canadian cities & also the lvl 3 Canadian city DIRECTLY SOUTH of Vancouver. From the lvl 3 Canadian city, I paraspammed PMI & sent MI spawned in it against San Francisco. Using Govorov, I also took the nearby lvl 1 American city before sending him to San Francisco. My arty EC took the last of the 3 Eastern Canadian cities. Then, he barely took down Bradley, who retook said city, with ~20% HP left. He joined in on the attack on MacArthur & the city with nuclear facility. RA Govorov, PMI & MI eventually took down San Francisco. Extra $$ & MI left over helped to take down Vancouver (which had been shelled by a 2-3 FA). |
