I have a question. What about Graziani? He has Machinist Level 3 which basically allows him to heal himself every turn. He is very expensive. Mechanist is really a skill only good for conquest and while Graziani has a decent skill set, it won’t allow for a combination of rumor panzer leader and armored assualt. Plus he has one star movement. He has potential but expect to spend around 8000 medals to see it. Okay, thanks. Which generals are good for starting? I heard that Messe and Leeb are amazing. I also heard th at Kunetzsov is decent.

Really all three them have the skill “rumor” which is undeniably the best skill in the game. Timoshenko is also very fast general for the beginning.

Messe-Leeb-Guderian-Konev-Kuznetsov-Nimitz-Rommel- (seemingly ideal and standard path) Vatutin-Yamashita-Konev-Kuznetsov-Guderian-Leeb-Rommel-Nimitz- ? (my path) The similarity here is that nailing 3 solid generals in the beginning is very useful, 1 tank 1 artillery and tank/arty/infantry(infantry not recommended). After that, strengthening your roster and getting navy, air and support generals would be helpful to your progress.

I believe one of the players on this board got Timoshenko and beat all the cold war campaigns with just him. Amazing.

Yamamoto is an air general Yamamoto is an air/navy hybrid, it has 6 stars for air and 2 air skills, but do not forget his 5 star navy! But you would rather put him on air

I think yamamoto can be quite good with explosives rumor and some other skill such as fleet leader or actually cover would be better. Develop him into a great artillery air navy hybrid.

True, getting the sailor skill and max upgrading it makes him Super OP

Thank you for name-dropping all of the generals that I need (Ideal and Standard path) So far I have Messe, Leeb and Kunetzsov. I only need Guderian, Konev, Nimitz and Rommel now. Do you recommend upgrading all of the generals that I mentioned?

Afterwards spam all upgrades on guderian and konev and Nimitz.
