Tsarstvo Bŭlgariya (Tsardom of Bulgaria), 1901:
Political:
After multiple coups and internal conflicts rocking the Eastern Mediterranean, the once formidable identity of the Late Antiquity has the opportunity and aspects of resurrecting it’s former glory. The conflicts against the Ottomans provided nothing but stamina and fuel to the nationalistic Bulgarians, wishing only for an independent state, representing only their ideals and their own personal image of a free Bulgaria. Finally, on an October date, Ferdinand I declares sovereignty in a church situated in Veliko Tarnovo, establishing a constitutional monarchy and as well as incorporating Eastern Rumelia. Finally, from a petulant principality to an independent kingdom, Bulgaria is finally free… For now.
Economic:
As a whole, Bulgaria is receiving major industrialization. With roads, transportation, and infrastructure becoming a top priority, as well as agriculture, and trade being another substantial method of profit. Receiving as much as, fifty-seven million in imports.
Military:
With the incorporation of Eastern Rumelia, it provides Bulgaria with an additional one million inhabitants. With the general population bulging over four million, drastic reformations would be needed to construct an armed force, adhering for the need of any expansion plans in the future.
Foreign Policy:
Pure isolationism. The Tsar requires little attention to any external affairs, and his main focus is on the expansion and incorporation of neighbouring territories, that rightfully belongs to him and his people.

The United States of America
Economy
Subsidies for small starting firms, minimum wages (increased spending by lower classes) and an intensive railroad infrastructure plan will hopefully boost the economy. Due to all of this and the military reforms the budget takes a slight hit. We expect enough economic growth to minimalize the effects of this deficit.
Political
Several social libertarian amendments have been added to the constitution. People rejoice the liberty granted to them. The United States presidency will be decided via popular vote and there will be a presidential term limit of only 1 term unless the president's initials are A.S. Politically the Republic has started integrating Cuba, Puerto Rico and the Philipines into the US. Whereas decentralization takes place, constitutional liberties protect the freedom of the US citizens all over the Republic.
Military
One of the major pieces of legislation in the constitution reads that, like Switzerland, every United States citizen aging 24-44 (of a state) shall be required to have 3 months military training. Only after completing such training, citizens are allowed to possess guns. After completion of the 3-month course, every citizen will be assigned a local militia with an average of 250 militiamen. Which means about 150.000 militias will be active after completion of the courses. Citizens assigned to a militia can resume their normal jobs since they will only have to train with their militia once a month.
Foreign Policy
The United States will military enforce the Monroe Doctrine. No European nation shall intervene in North and South-America without clear approval of the United States. Doing so without approval will mean an American participation in the war against the invading European power.

Spain 1901:
Background: After the 14th century and into the Renaissance, Spain became a powerful Catholic nation. In the 16th century, they were the most firm nation in the beliefs of the Catholic doctrine. They were a member of the Habsburg dynasty for hundreds of years, which meant they were constantly using their extremely formidable army to fight France. They even had many American colonies and a formidable navy. But all of that came to an end... The beginning of the end was when England defeated the entire Spanish armada in 1588. But their fate wasn't truly sealed until the early 18th century, when Charles II of Spain died. Without any children, the war of Spanish succession took place. Philip II made it even worse. He lost the last bits of the Benelux and the Italian provinces they owned. This set Spain up for failure in the Industrial Revolution and other periods such as the Enlightenment due to lack of economic output. To summarize: Spain once was good, but they lost it all and remained behind their European counterparts.
Political: Maria Christina de Austria is serving as the current regent until the King Alfonso XIII turns 16, which will be next year. Because of the way the political structure is set up, it is old and the civilians are not being heard. A radical group of rebellious citizens forms in Barcelona, and they call themselves the Catalan Crusaders. Their leader is a man named José Carlos de Valencia. Christina is working to silence the group without use of military.
Military: The Spanish-American War made it obvious that we need to reaffirm our military doctrine, but there is not enough money allocated to the army to do that.
Navy: Old and it needs new technology.
Economy: Christina foolishly employs a mercantilist policy by increasing tariffs on imports and emphasizing the needs for exports. Unfortunately, the system proves counterintuitive as most of the industrial goods come from outside Spain, and they don't really have anything to export.

Political
After Queen Victoria's death, her son, Edward VII becomes the King. Apart from that the political situation is fairly stable with the Conservative party always in power.
Economy
The economy is currently better than ever, with the highest amount of employees in the industry ever. As a result of this, new laws are introduced to raise the minimum working age to 16. This will surely decrease the worker's population but there are still plenty of them left.
Military
The second Boer War is still raging. In response the the Boer's guerilla tactics, extensive patrols of 50,000 men are established to counter that. In addition, "Holland 1", the very first submarine of the British navy is launched. A new treaty between @joshuameme's Greece and UK is established, making Greece the British navy's main base of operations in the Mediterranean region.
Foreign Policy
The British Empire tries to keep friendly relations with USA, as a large number of its exports are delivered there. The King does not respond to the recent crisis in Netherlands and Brazil but will keep a close eye on the matter.

German Reich, turn 1
Germany had the biggest industrial economy in the whole of Europe, growing ever since the great chancellor Otto von Bismarck reunited German countries and made it a Reich. It was big enough to race the naval powers with Britain, and the goal was making the size of the German navy, under great admiral Tirplitz's command, two-thirds of Britain's. Tension with U.K. was also growing, due to the naval race and such. Things with China was not so good as well, as ambassador Clemens von Ketteler was murdered in his visit to China. Relationships with other nations, especially Austro-Hungary is smooth.
The military is in 5 armies in size, with each army holding up four to five corps. Though more people can mobilize in war. Germany is very open to trade(even though IRL Germany was not) and seeks co-development of the German navy. Germany has joined the colonial war, among the other nations, colonizing southwest, and east Africa and new Guinea.

1901 Osmanlı Sultanlığı
Military
Our army has been constantly mordernising since the Greco-Turkish War in 1897. Better training is introduced, soldiers are better and development has increased. Meanwhile, 500 soldiers are sent to squash Armenian revolts led by Andranik Ozanian.
Economy
Harbors in the Mediterranean and Black Sea have began construction and exports in Arabian oil and cotton have increased. The opening of new business is also encouraged.
Political
Massacres of Serbs by Albanians were stopped upon investigation. The governor, as well as many anti-Serb officials, have been dismissed. Armenians' living conditions are intolerable but little has been done to help. The Sultan has also agreed to peace terms with Greece. "We can not afford to have hostile neighbours," he said.
World
Austria-Hungary attempts to ease tensions between the many ethnic groups living in it by giving them linited autonomy. Netherlands becomes a socialist nation, where "terrorist is everyone who opposes the government." The second Boer war continues on with no end in sight.

Just a fair warning to all readers... This won't be a pretty year (or a decade even) for Mother Russia, read on if you can stomach it...
Imperial Russia 1901 (See the information leading up to the Revolution of 1905 en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1905_Russian_Revolution)
Because the Russian economy was tied to European finances, the Western money markets' contraction in 1899–1900 plunged Russian industry into a deep and prolonged crisis which outlasted the dip in European industrial production. Still limping along badly, this setback aggravated social unrest. Least to say... The urbania of cities wasn't the only area having problems. Agrarian problem (quote from Wikipedia) Every year, thousands of nobles in debt mortgaged their estates to the noble land bank or sold them to municipalities, merchants, or peasants. By the time of the revolution, the nobility had sold off one-third of its land and mortgaged another third. The government hoped to make peasants—freed by the Emancipation reform of 1861—a politically conservative, land-holding class by enacting laws to enable them to buy land from nobility and pay small installments over many decades.[6]
The land, known as "allotment land", would not be owned by individual peasants, but by the community of peasants; individual peasants would have rights to strips of land that were assigned to them under the open field system. Unfortunately, a peasant could not sell or mortgage his land, so in practice he could not renounce his rights to his land and thus he would be required to pay his share of redemption dues to the village commune.[6] This plan was meant to prevent proletarianisation of the peasants. However, the peasants were not given enough land to provide for their needs.[7] "Their earnings were often so small that they could neither buy the food they needed nor keep up the payment of taxes and redemption dues they owed the government for their land allotments. By the tenth year of Nicholas II's reign, their total arrears in payments of taxes and dues was 118 million rubles."[7] The situation became worse. Masses of hungry peasants roamed the countryside looking for work and sometimes walked hundreds of kilometres to find it. Desperate peasants proved capable of violence.[7] "In the provinces of Kharkov and Poltava in 1902, thousands of them, ignoring restraints and authority, burst out in a rebellious fury that led to extensive destruction of property and looting of noble homes before troops could be brought to subdue and punish them."[7]
These violent outbreaks caught the attention of the government, so it created many committees to investigate their causes.[7] The committees concluded that no part of the countryside was prosperous; some parts, especially the fertile areas known as "black-soil region", were in decline.[8] Although cultivated acreage had increased in the last half century, the increase had not been proportionate to the growth of peasant populations, which had doubled.[8] "There was general agreement at the turn of the century that Russia faced a grave and intensifying agrarian crisis due mainly to rural overpopulation with an annual excess of fifteen to eighteen live births over deaths per 1,000 inhabitants."[9] The investigations revealed many difficulties but could not find solution that were both sensible and "acceptable" to the government.[8] Feeling desperate and overwhelmed, Sergei Witte had to do something about the mounting debts that was becoming increasingly meaningless except for squiggles of ink on paper. By the order of the Tsar's insistence that Witte do SOMETHING, consequences be damned, for the empire would be doomed to drown in peasantry and irrelevance to the modern world if nothing was done about it. So, provoked into action, Witte declared all of the allotment lands to be pardoned of their connected debts and the receiving communes disbarred of their authority to adjudicate over those lands. The shocked aristocrats rose up in protest. Tsar Nicholas II stood his ground on this matter, saying "Those lands that you had agreed to be given away to the governance of the Empire, to the responsiblie administration of communes... You have also agreed to abdicate your rights to rule over those lands that you could not and would not tend to for yourselves. You have become landless nobles, meaningless rabble only ornamented with rudely made gilded gold upon false brass. Away with ye!" 15,000 nobles presently landless rises up and made an attempt to revolt. The army counter-reacts and works to suppresses it. 4 or under, the revolt succeed. BQIpz0Dzer a 2, great... A stack of rebels takes control of Minskaya Governorate. Nicholas orders his second cousin Grand Duke Nicholas Nikolaevich to ensure that those rebelling nobles were completely suppressed for once and all. He replied that it would be too costly to recover Minskaya and to ensure the rest of the populace would also not arise up in another revolt. He proposed that instead... they would be allowed into the military, only if after they proved themselves being the best among their group. Nicholas II agreed and sent an insulting letter to the nobles, mocking their inability to fight a battle with the Imperial army, proclaiming an severe doubt in their martial abilities, but is willing to allow the top 10% return, provided that they overcome the other 90%. In addition to the reward of posts in the military, honors, and such... the Minskaya Governorate would be partitioned among the 10% themselves for theirs to keep. The recent governor of Minskaya was summarily executed for incompetence and allowing the rebels to take control. This left a vacant position for one of the remainders to take. Sure enough, the nobles fell into a massive battle royale and slaughtered each other until 1,500 was left standing. Results: A new governor was chosen by the 1,500 to lead and to allot the portions of lands among them. The nationwide revolt level drops from 4 to 3. ···

Japan 1901
Political:
The 34th year of the reign of Emperor Meiji begins peacefully. After the Boxer Intervention the past year, the already strong patriotism of the Japanese keeps growing, but the people are beginning to grow restless. The Emperor has imposed high taxes on Japan for years to allow Japan to modernize and become an equal with the European powers, but Japan barely has a colonial empire to show for its efforts, even being forced to hand back over the fairly won Liandong Peninsula to the Chinese. There have already been loud voices in the Japanese government to finally conquer Korea, and with the Chinese even weaker and the people's indignation growing louder, the Emperor and his advisors have decided to take action at last. The military is being mobilized for the grand conquest of Korea to start next year and end then or the next year, and the Emperor has his eyes on other prizes as well...
Economic:
The modernization efforts of Japan are continuing to roll onwards, with special efforts being invested in making the army, artillery, and navy the best-performing they can be before the upcoming invasion. Trade is continuing to grow with other countries, and the taxes are very slightly raised to prepare for next year, but not enough to make the people more angry at the government.
Military:
Due to the ongoing draft, the Imperial Japanese Army numbers 275,000 troops by the end of the year, with more expected to be drafted before the invasion starts. Japan also enjoys a 50 boat-strong fleet, with modernization efforts ongoing with the older ships and larger ships ordered for the next year. Work is also being done on the Arisoka rifle to have an improved version ready in 1 or 2 years.
225,000 troops in Japanese islands 50,000 troops in Taiwan
World: The Japanese government holds no major opinions on events affecting the rest of the world, as they are too far away to impact Japan. The government is, however, open to alliance talks with prospective allies.

France 1901 A governmental change to full democracy, where people's vote is the key. Newly elected government has come to conclusion our country is in mess and needs a clean up.
Political: A stalemate with most of the large European powers is forcing for changes, the minister of external affairs is relieved of duty, there's hold a vote for the next candidate. So everything is halted for the time of elections.
Economic: Although we are one of the biggest countries on planet, the economy is unstable and we need to invest in safe transport routes and battleships, so we can get resources from colonies.
Military: Although our army is the biggest and best equipped on planet it is also outdated and without no support from our mainland. A modernization campaign is held.

Netherlands 1902 Economic Implemented (in the previous year) economic measures were effective enough to provide legal and social equality for all classes and not to allow any discrimination as well. Free enterprise together with Social responsibility will ensure stability and further economic growth in Netherlands even in these turbulent times Military Ivan Bloch, Russian railway financier of Jewish origin (who devoted his private life to the study of modern industrial warfare archive.org/details/iswarnowimpossib00bloc or www.forgottenbooks.com/en/download/TheFutureofWar_10032784.pdf) was invited to Netherlands to give a series of lectures not long before his death. Members of Dutch General Staff, impressed by his detailed analysis of modern warfare, its tactical, strategic and political implications, develop now a new military doctrine based on following principles: 1. New arms technology (e.g. smokeless gunpowder, improved rifle design, Maxims) had rendered maneuvers over open ground, such as bayonet and cavalry charges, obsolete. A war between the great powers would be a war of entrenchment and that rapid attacks and decisive victories were likewise a thing of the past. Entrenched men would enjoy a fourfold advantage over infantry advancing across open ground. 2. Industrial societies would have to settle the resultant stalemate by committing armies numbering in the millions, as opposed to the tens of thousands of preceding wars. An enormous battlefront would develop. A war of this type could not be resolved quickly. Dutch military forces due to a lack of human resources will be unable to provide significant numbers of men on the battlefield, therefore small but highly professional Army is the only one way to meet all possible dangers. Mighty and reliable allies are of high importance as well. 3. New type of war would become a duel of industrial might, a matter of total economic attrition. Severe economic and social dislocations would result in the imminent risk of famine, disease, the break-up of the whole social organization and revolutions from below. Taking all this into account, all measures of social policy introduced by Ruud van Nistelriik’s government should be accepted as timely, prompt and relevant. Foreign policy After establishing new wage ratio there was a response to these measures in The Kaiser Reichpapers. In his speech Ruud van Nistelriik noticed that there was a hidden threat to free people of Netherlands in this response. Van Nistelriik reminded that our proud nation was at war with Spain, France and Great Britain in times when these states were at the pinnacle of their power and none was able to suppress the Dutch fierce spirit of independence. Van Nistelriik expressed his doubts that Kaiserreich needs one more foe, because (citation) “Germany has enough already”, but some defensive preparations were made nevertheless. 1. Several tons of barbed wire were purchased from American farmers, who used it widely for restraining the movement of cattle. In accordance with the new Military doctrine, however, barbed wire could be a great defensive weapon against masses of infantry. 2. Several hundreds Vickers machine guns were purchased from Vickers Limited. 3. Two fortified positions will be established in 1902-04 in Nijmegen and Enschede to block the possible invasion corridor from Germany. Miscellaneous Ron Overmars reports that he was able to receive new promotion and to make an increasingly prominent presence in the higher echelons of the Military service. Army of (X) is strong and powerful, but creative thinking is lacking and military doctrines are based on previous wars of the 19-th century rather than on present realities. Overmars also reports that Balkans remain the the most probable place for local military conflicts. Imprudent actions by any party may set off the powder keg and lead to catastrophic consequences - which no one wishes to see. Tadamichi Kuribayashi Belgian–Dutch relations can be seen as one of the closest international relationships in existence, marked by shared history, culture, institutions and language, extensive people-to-people links and aligned security interests. Dutch, known in Belgium as Flemish, is the most-spoken language in both countries. Taking all this into account we offer a new bilateral preferential trade agreement and a full military alliance to the Belgian government.

1902
Political: A man named Joshua Vizielos Valeta who was the leader of the "Kosmat" party has gained support by the populace and parliment. "The nation is nothing in its position now." He said. " We must industrialize now, even with the reforms of 1901 we must act. We need to appoint new generals, new admirals, and a man who doesn't come from the greedy few families." is a statement he made. King Otto fully agrees. A series of laws are passed,
Mixing Classes: The poorest workers must be paid at least 1.50 cents more per hours. Poverty Control: A tax return will be made in the poorest regions.
Current tax levels: Lower, 20 (not counting Poverty Control.) Middle, 20, and Upper 29.
Economy: Schools were to be built to teach the population, one of these was Purified Greek which would increase stability over time. Infrastructure projects were being done for the population. The Agriculture project continues. Factories would be built in order for civilian and military purposes. 2 ports were being built.
Naval Military: A new concept of ship was made but would not be built untill the finishing of the new port. With the British in Greece they studied the British fleets and with the Netherlands sending blueprints of new modern ship designs which would be trusted because of how much a power in the waters the Netherlands have been, They began building a variety of ships would be built. About 5,700 marines were trained.
Land Military: The military is now numbering 130K, men are trained and equipped with the most modern equipment army compositions are hidden from the news. Military factories are supplementing the supplies. trenches are dug along various locations to the north and 2 forts in case of ottoman aggression .
Diplomacy: Greece wishes to improve relations with Great Britain, Italy, Netherlands, and Russia.
Foreign Policy: No real aid can be sent but we are seeking trade with anyone willing.

Brazil 1902:
Ludwig Gaston reaches Salvador in January, now with a force of 26,000 men and 5 naval vessels, both the extra men and naval vessels being supplied by an anonymous foreign power.
Initially, the Brazilian army at Salvador, sent there because the Republic had already heard of Ludwig's plan, pointed their guns at Ludwig. Ludwig marched from the naval vessels onto the beach alone and exclaimed:
Soldiers, never fear. I am the grandson of Pedro the Great. I have come to bring glory back to the nation. If you wish to shoot your new Emperor, here I am.
Then, the Brazilian soldiers left their positions and rushed toward Ludwig. They proclaimed their allegiance to their new Emperor.
The word rapidly spread throughout Brazil:
The new Emperor is here! Down with the Republic!
The Republic continued to send army after army to arrest Ludwig. All but one army defected to Ludwig, with the exception of the Republican Guard, which remained fiercely loyal to the Republic. Ludwig and his supporters reached Rio by June, and stormed the Presidential Palace. A fierce battle occurred between the Guard and the Monarchists, but numbers ultimately result in the Guard surrendering. The Republican leaders surrendered.
Ludwig is made the new Head of State. He pardoned all former Republicans as an act of generosity.
On December 4th, 1902, he is proclaimed Emperor, with the official title of:
Emperor of Brazil, Protector of the Amazon, Conqueror of Acre, Liberator of Salvador, and Leader of the People
Ludwig changes his name to 'Ludovico' to make it more Portuguese and becomes Dom Ludovico I of Brazil.
His first act as Emperor is to send a diplomatic envoy to America to establish friendly relations. He also pursues a protectionist policy to encourage Brazilian industry, with the first factory being built in Rio on his orders.

France 1902
Politics French people have spoken our new external affairs minister is Maurice Paléologue. This has started a new wave of diplomacy between France and biggest European states.
Economy Economy is still vulnerable and requires huge investments to make it safe, the newly built fleet is capable only to protect the ports. This leads to French searching for a trade partner for ship building capabilities.
Military The modernization of army is going well except for the fact we can no longer afford the upkeep for such modern and large army, French army must be shortened by 5%. This leads for need of better generals, the military is looking for the brightest minds in whole army for this.

Military: the efforts to raisea larger army were somewhat a success. With better and longer training we are eager to try the army out. We have not faced battle in 17 years. Ethiopia is to be atacked from Eritrea. With the new machine guns are army enjoys a slight tactical advantage. We need a 7 to win R|xp5IMs
Economic: we hope to make the south off the country more modernised. Other than that no major changes.
Political: the national propaganda institution has been created with the main goal to further unite the italian people. Posters wil be printed which is pro government.·
