Die österreichisch-ungarische Monarchic, 1901
As instability between the many ethnic groups of the empire continues to trouble the existence of this ages-old State, a plan must be put into action. To ease tensions, Austro-Hungarian Czechia will be granted limited autonomy within Austria-Hungary, whereas it’s military remains under Austro-Hungarian control, and the Empire will reserve the right to rescind it’s autonomy if ever needed. Over the next several years, the same autonomy will be granted to the Poles, Serbo-Croatians, and Romanians.
The Austro-Hungarian Army has been in disarray, and training programs are ramped up to better the performance of both the militias and regulars. The army is to be maintained at 500,000 in times of peace, and raised when necessary.
Resources are purchased in bulk and stockpiled for a later date. Taxes are raised to 50% on the low class, 40 on the middle, and 30 on the upper.
Austria-Hungary has not forgotten the loss of Venetia and Lombardy to Italy. 50,000 men are placed in the Alps on defensive patrols.

Political: A constitutional reform is to take place. In order to hope to begin reforms on economy to stop immigration out of Greece and to make the people happy whilst beginning to Stabilize. Will basically be the constitution of 1911. Also the New testament shall be made into Demotic But with the military at Athens.
Economy: we will begin diversifying crops as the only important agriculture we have is currants, raisins, tobacco. The aim is to get more food flowing and diversify the consumer goods.
Military: We request foreign aid from any military power to help us increase our power.

Ok my first attemt Netherlands 1901 Political After the 1900 elections a new Populist party Gelijkheid en Rechtvaardigheid led by Ruud van Nistelriik (known in certain circles as stoic ) gained decisive majority in the lower house of parliament. Immediately after that Parliament was dissolved and parts of the Constitution suspended. Social Democratic Workers' Party and Liberal Union were outlawed, and new definition of terrorism was introduced into legislation. From now on “terrorist is everyone, who opposes the government”. Ruud van Nistelriik was declared “Dictator for life” by Queen Wilhelmina of the Netherlands. Army Conscription was introduced. Repatriation of Boers was declared, and soon after these descendants of the Dutch-speaking settlers in Southern Africa (all of them veterans of Anglo-Boer Wars and battle-hardened soldiers) were ready for action. After all these measures The Royal Netherlands Army counted to 45,000 soldiers and 10,000 civilian personnel. Several millions guldens was allocated “for the maintenance and development of the Armed Forces”. In Royal Millitary Academy new unconventional methods of warfare were developed, but results kept in secret. Two new modern battleships “Ruyter” and “Tromp” were built. After lengthy discussion decision was made to share with the Government of Greece some results of secret experiments in return for certain sum of gold. Economy Program of State Socialism was declared. Set of social programs was implemented in Netherlands that were initiated by Ruud van Nistelriik as remedial measures to appease the working class and detract support for real socialism. New Programm “Gevoed werknemer is een tevreden werknemer” (“Well fed worker is a satisfied worker”) was introduced. New Wage regulation were introduced. Ratios between executive work and field or factory work which earns a minimum wage should not be more than 9:1 from now on. Foreign policy Ruud van Nistelriik made a proclamation that Netherlands desire peace above all things and will cooperate on various disarmament issues, but ready for any possible troubles. si vis pacem para bellum (the phrase was met with crowd's applause) Country is open to any constructive proposal and would collaborate with all interested States. The best Dutch spy Ron Overmars ("Man with thousand faces") was infiltrated into the Army of one European state.

Brazil 1901: Brazil is in chaos. Stability, development, nationalism and westernization were well established during the reign of Dom Pedro II from 1831 to 1889. Then, a coup d'etat by the military overthrew Pedro II in 1889, establishing an Authoritarian Republic in the monarchy's place. The progress made by Pedro II was suddenly reversed. In 1891 and again from 1893-1894, the navy revolted against the Republic. From 1893-1895, the Federalist Revolution occurred in Rio Grande do Sul and Santa Catarina which saw the states revolt against the Republic. More than 10,000 died in this war. From 1896-1897, a peasant revolt in the town of Canudos sparked a harsh government reprisal. 12,000 Brazilian soldiers entered the town and massacred 25,000 settlers, leaving only 150 survivors. They then destroyed the town. This caused outrage amongst the Brazilians, and many feared a total military dictatorship was afoot. The economy was floundering due to the turmoil in the country, the Republic took more debts, and the only thing keeping the Republic in power was the military. Conflict with Bolivia over the rubber rich region of Acre also led to strife. Bolivia was weak and did not provide many men to the Acre region, meaning the Brazilian military was able to easily occupy the area. The Brazilian soldiers now defied orders from Rio, however, and refused to cross into Bolivian territory as an act of defiance to the Republic. Civil war seemed imminent, and many looked back to the monarchy. In Europe, Dom Pedro, his last surviving daughter Isabel, her husband and their children fled to Paris, France. Pedro would die in 1891, making Isabel the head of the Brazilian branch of the Orleans-Braganza dynasty. Isabel was unwilling to try to reclaim the throne, believing it simply wasn't worth it. In Austria-Hungary, however, another branch of the Orleans-Braganza Dynasty lived in exile. Pedro's other daughter, Leopoldina, lived there with her husband Ludwig August of Saxe-Coburg Gotha until her death in 1871. She bore four children, one of whom being Ludwig-Gaston in 1870. Ludwig-Gaston was brought back to Brazil where he grew up under the tutelage of his grandfather, Pedro II, until 1889 when he, along with the other members of the Royal Family, went into exile. Unlike the others, he fled to Austria-Hungary. Ludwig-Gaston was not in a good position to become King of any country, as he was the last son of his mother, Leopoldina, and the successor to the Orleans-Braganza Dynasty was his aunt, Isabel. But he was determined to become not just a King, but an Emperor. Ludwig kept a close eye on the situation, until 1901 when he decided that his opportunity to seize power in Brazil was upon him. In February, he set out from Fiume with 1,000 mercenaries and headed toward Salvador, Bahia. Ludwig-Gaston

The Kaiser Reichpapers Issue #1, 1901 pt. 1
Netherlands faces dictatorship The GeR party leader Mr. stoic is approved as dictator from the Dutch queen. Every opposers of the government is now a terrorist. The Kaiser said, in responce to the dictator's mention of peace that Germany will remain passive at relationships with Netherlands. New wages introduced In the Netherlanda and their changes, Socialism is spreading across the nation. Now, the ratio of Executive workers and the Field/factory workers should keep the limits of 9:1. The dutch are clearly walking a path of socialism dictated by Sr. stoic . Kaiser has mentioned this as a threat of Europe, and Tsar Desophaeus has once said that his greatest fear was a socialist revolt.
Brazilian tention grows After a successful attempt to occupy the rich Acres, the Brazilian military refused the orders of the republic. This was a shock to the Kaiser Leonid Govorov , as he mentioned that as a victory that "All men should look up to". Civil war seems inevitable. Kaiser has not mentioned his support on either sides. Ludwig Gaston revolts in Brazil L. Gaston, grandson of Dom Pedro II have decided to revolt with his 1000 mervenaries. He is headed towards Salvador. He made his ambitions clear that he wanted to become an emperor. The Kaiser showed no responce to this topic. Total change in Greece The constitution, the agriculture, everything is changing to Greece. the new testamont would be made democratic though the military stays at Athenes. The Kaiser said that Germany advices Greece to change into a Monarch, as democracy is the seed of destruction. Kingdom of Belgium 1901
Political
Albert II, having failed 8 years earlier to override the elected government in an attempt to pass a royal referendum (which would have allowed the king to directly address the people and veto it based on the results of the referendum), tried to do pass the same royal referendum. This action immediately received wide disapproval from the Federal Parliament. In response to the king's proposal, the Federal Parliament temporarily united (Catholic Party, Labor Party, and the Liberal Party) to sign a declaration that no one will submit to the king if the king tries to encroach upon their liberties. After this declaration, however, the bickering amongst the political parties continued as usual.
Economic
Business continued on as usual, save for the continued labor reforms passed by the Federal Parliament on worker safety and the promotion of the creation of smaller businesses, though this program was limited in scale. In addition, King Leopold II tried to begin exporting ivory from the Congo Free State, though this was rejected by Parliament on the basis of an attempt to keep all of the profits when exporting to himself.
Military
King Leopold II strove to expand the military, both the national military and the Force Publique (a personal guard ensuring the quota for ivory and rubber is met). This desire for expansion divided the Federal Parliament, as the Catholic Party opposed all forms of militarization, while the Liberal and Labor Parties opposed only the Force Publique. During sessions of Parliament, militarization would become a major political issue.
Foreign Policy
Both the King and Parliament agreed that relations should improve between Belgium and neighboring countries and upon hearing of the Dutch proclamation of willingness to collaborate with other countries, jumped to seize the opportunity. The Kingdom of Belgium would begin sending diplomatic envoys to the Kingdom of the Netherlands to cooperate on economic and political issues.

Italy 1901. Sorry if it's bad Political: Italy has been unified for 30 years now, and though stable, the government is not very stable. Many off my citizens listen to the church which does not support the government because off the land lost during the unification . The government will try to strengthen relations with the Vatican to gain public support. Economic: The northern regions off the country are more industrialized and below Rome the country is much more agricultural and impoverished. Not much has been done to tackle poverty so far. The North also has it's share off poor people. A program will be launched to help give workers a fair pay and one toimprove quality of life in the south and Sicily. Taxes on the rich and middle class will be moderate and for low income workers quite low. I would like to request the economic support off my allies. State wide newspapers encouraging patriotism for unified Italy will be printed and effot to increase litiracy rates will be made. In the poorer regions people will be encouraged to join the army with food water shelter ect meeting they will have a better life. They will make money so they can send it home to there family's Military The royal Italian army is ok in 1901. We shall train are soldiers well so there ready for combat. In retaliation to Chancellor Otto Von Bismarck, placing his troops near the alps, 25 000 men are to be placed in the surrounding areas. Foreign Policy I would like to request the economic support off Leonid Govorov, and anyone willing to help. Because off Italy's small borders expaditonery forces are able to help out anyone who might need it. If you would like my help militarily feel free to ask. Hope it wasn't to bad

Kingdom of Romania 1901 The Kingdom of Romania is a constitutional Monarchy ruled by Carol I. We have been freed from Ottoman rule ever since the 1878 Russo-Turkish war. We are a new nation however we must stay strong and keep our independence. We must be on the lookout for external threats to our kingdom, a worrying concern is to the south we have the Ottomans who may want to expand into the balkans again. Than there our most immediate neighbors Serbia, Bulgaria, Austro-Hungary, and Russia. Our military during peacetime is currently 100,000 men. Our navy currently consists of some old gunboats, torpedo boats, and armed merchant ships. Our main exports are currently agriculture products. Currently its business as usual in Romania however we will be keeping a keen eye on what happens in Europe.
