Hi, I'm trying to buy my second snare drum, however, for some reason it will not let me. The snare drum is grayed out. Anyone knows why that's happens? I have only beaten the coalition campaign, I am almost done with the French one.

You can buy only one snare drum in one campaign... You have to wait for HRE/Prussia campaigns ("North America landings" mission) to buy the second one...

wenyuan, sometimes you can check out the headquarter shop. If you are lucky enough you will find what you are looking for.

To add on: We usually don't recommend purchasing items from the HQ shop as your gens can't be used to get discounts. If you REALLY need the item ASAP & it happens to appear in your shop, you can buy it. |

The shop is great for getting those items which you really need, or which would seriously enhance your capabilities, but are only available in much later campaigns than the one(s) you're in.
Any particular campaign store can only sell you the item once, but the HQ shop can sell it to you as often as it comes around there. If you are able to freely change the date on your device, you can keep trying and see if you win the HQ shop lottery.
In any case, Snare Drum is really one of those items which should be switched around between the generals that need it, as they are attacking. Most people only buy one, and unless you are in the habit of leaving two or more generals in significantly depleted health in close contact with strong enemies (in which case it helps your general hit hard in the AI retaliation phase), there is no need to have two.
