I've just completed my first set of purple equipment so this seemed like a good time to raise a couple of things I've been wondering about...
1. Do you get any added benefit by putting them all on one general, like with e.g. Paladin set?
2. Are the special sets unique?
3. Does any particular piece or set of equipment suit any particular individual or type of general?
4. I'd already decided only to spend medals on top drawer equipment, does anyone disagree with this approach?

1. In general, put all set on 1 gen is best option, but sometime, you need split the set to cover the weakness of 2 or 3 different gens. 2. I don't know about "Special set unique", there 4 special set in this game: Paladin, Keel, Titan and Odin. Paladin is balance set with Healing op, Odin is all-round set with huge addition in every key stats, Titan is Atk focus and Keel are Def and Healing focus. 3. The free purple items from game is enough for you beside 4 special set which need a lot of time and efford to get. |

Thanks for the info and link, regarding No.2 by unique I mean can you only have one of each? You can't get 2 Paladin sets, right?

To aim at Legendary equipment is OK, but skills of generals and the overall synergy of the team are more important, imo...

Agreed, I expect I'll only be spending medals on equipment once I'm happy with my general line up and have upgraded them sufficiently. Although having said that, whenever I get the third Paladin item I'm surely going to want the fourth to complete the set...  I was mostly checking that there's no multiplying effect with the purple items. Also to my mind it seems logical that a crossbow should be more dangerous in the hands of an archer than say artillery, or that the Knight's Armour belongs on cavalry however I accept I may very well be in a minority of one in that regard! |

As many others I bought only Paladin sword in my previous game, but I guess I need more with cavalry team... |
